Surviving the Felon: Week of 4/04/2026

Admin/ April 5, 2026/ Anime, Books, Centrum Glacies, Dungeons and Dragons, Pokémon Go, Political, Surviving the Felon, The Search for Eden, Video Games

I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. April is here in Florida and the seasons decided to jump from winter to summer. No spring to be found of course which means I’ll need to get as much hiking in as I can before the summer heat gets too hot for me to be safe out there.

Anyway, let’s talk about something a bit more alarming than weather. The Felon is still doing everything in his power to make the world a worse place as he slowly makes his exit from it. Every day, he continues to try and make us exhausted and tired as his antics become more and more unhinged. And partially that can be blamed on him going senile. If only there was this Amendment or something that could have him removed.

But while he exhausts us using stupid rhetoric we must ignore him as best we can. His minions and the bots on the internet are like annoying gnats that are too numerous to swat away. But we can instead keep our energy for ourselves rather than give it away freely to him. At least we can smile knowing the Iran War is going worse for him than for everyone else. Though our wallets won’t be agreeing for quite some time.

The Bad

While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage FoundationPeter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.

An ordered list seems to be the best way to get through this section and so I’ll continue doing so. Negativity is the news’s specialty. And I want to focus on resisting and the positivity. But those bad things cannot be ignored. Giving it the least thought and fewest words is a proper compromise.

Everything ICE is doing in a city near, Cover up of ICE’s Terrorism by the FBI, Healthcare Costs going way up, Food Stamps running out, Genocide in Sudan, Bombings in Iran and around the Middle East, A world run by pedophiles, Attacks against Jews, Miliary Leaders being forced to resign, Rising Tensions between Japan and China, The Redacted Epstein Files, People gambling over what war crimes will be committed next, Threats of Nuclear Missile Use, A Global Economy Threatened due to the Iran War

The Good

Well the bad is in the part above. Let’s focus on the good now. And I want to start by pointing out that no matter how hard Nazi Barbie tried, she was never going to be anything less than a scapegoat for this administration. Remember that women are seen as less than servants to these people. The Incel Movement elected The Felon. So if any women in your life still support The Felon, maybe remind them of what just happened.

Despite the stupid moves by The Felon, the Iranian people are still rallying around each other to oust the Ayotolla. And this is really a sign of a strong people who have a culture that has lasted the test of time. I imagine long after the United States is gone and lost to history, Iran will endure. May their country one day know peace and be able to be a location that people from all over the world can visit.

Anyway, back to my first point, Nazi Barbie isn’t the only one afraid. The Couch Humper, who was always meant to be the puppet to run things once The Felon is gone has gone so spinless that his back is breaking apart. I have no doubt that when he inevitably becomes our leader, that he will fail in all his goals. And may those moments be incredible.

Transition

This week depression came knocking and caused me to crash. Mentally I was a mess and it took until the weekend and friends giving me a reason to leave the house for me to shake it off. Mentally I am still exhausted. This was a really bad bout of it. I was dragged down into the darkness for a bit with some horrible thoughts that have not shaken me for a long time. Moving forward I’ll need to adapt some new coping mechanisms because the current ones are starting to fracture.

This blog has been a check in for my friends as well as one for myself. March almost over now. I’m still not where I want to be. But I have found some motivation to try and reach new heights. Activities that bring me joy are so important because they keep the despair away. How much writing can I accomplish with a better head?

Anyway, its time for this blog to turn inwards and reflect. I had to battle depression and anxiety this week. Its always a threat and so it is vital that I found plenty that brought me joy. I refuse to let the mainstream media define my emotions. I’ll fight towards a better me even if I face adversity in my personal life and the world around me. The Felon will not drag me down. If you are feeling down and are searching for something to make you feel better, I’ll be providing links to those things that brought me joy.

Workouts

This week I continued at the same number of reps for my workouts as. 15 of each set doesn’t seem like a lot, but habits are best done with a slow build up. I am proud of myself for committing to a healthier body even if I have a lot more work to do before I can be completely content. The next week I’ll be upping that number to 20. I know I will be sore for a while, but look forward to that being my new normal.

Video Games

While depressed I turned to the one thing that can keep me going when all other lights go out. It was really a testament to just how horrible I felt that it was barely enough. Right now, I’m playing a game I didn’t want to play while depressed, Civilization 7. While I prefer to play this game with friends, I also like to practice in solo games to get better.

Genshin Impact, and Elden Ring made up a majority of the rest of my gaming time. I’ll keep playing these games so long as I continue to find new reasons to try out new stuff. There is always more to discover in these games. And Genshin especially is still live service. I intend to play this game until the servers go down. Assuming they ever do. It will be a long time before I stop playing these games. Expect to see one or both of them mentioned even once this blog has changed to a different topic.

My last Nuzlocke was not too tough. My current one which took several tries before I even reached this point, has been one of the most cursed I have ever done. I have lost 15 Pokémon as of this blog post. Almost every single one I caught has been killed. And I felt hopeless as at the fifth Gym Leader I lost all but one: Absol. But things are finally starting to look up now that I have added: Mespirit, Amoonguss, and Drifblim. Not only does this team have better typings to compliment each other, but there is actual bulk. Almost everything I caught before this was extremely frail or not fully evolved. Which tends to be fatal in a Nuzlock.

Pokémon Go

This week I broke my depression by going on a proper adventure. And while it was only a small park, I needed something to get me outside. I’ll take whatever little adventure I can find when I am in the dark. You can read what I explored here.

This week I played my tournament matches and didn’t do so well. In fact I lost all three battles. I’ll need to rethink my teambuilding and work on some new strategies. It was my first week in this cup and I’ll need to figure out what is working and what is not so that I can improve.

I’m also struggling in open PvP this season. I know that the entire player base slowly increases in skill. And at the same time, less and less people play in the Go Battle League each season so even staying where I am means I’m getting better. But I want to get significantly better. I made it to Veteran before and I want to do so again. Knowing that this and doing better in tournament play are linked, I have my work cut out for me.

Anime and Shows

As most of the Anime I was watching finished this week, I didn’t have that much left to watch. Of what I did finish: To Your Eternity, Hell’s Paradise, and Fire Force made up the list. I also started Oshi No Ko but have plenty more to watch of that.

Of the shows, despite Fire Force airing the series finale, I think Hells Paradise had the better episode. There will be a whole season to finish what happened in that last episode and I’m looking forward to what happens next.

I’m moving through the Zou Arc of One Piece. In fact I’m more than halfway through it now. This one is a lot shorter than the prior arc so I don’t think it will take too long. I am told that I’ll start getting some answers to closely guarded secrets within the story in this story arc too.

Dungeons & Dragons

I continued with another week of my Centrum Glacies Campaign. Not only did the party fight more creatures that had gone mad with forbidden knowledge, but they encountered a mass of souls that both hindered and harmed them. Even as they try to defeat this terrible mass of creatures so that they can confront a major antagonist, they have their work cut out for them.

You can check out that post here. And I am extremely excited for what will be coming next. Expect to hear about it soon.

Writing and Editing

This week I hunkered down and focused exclusively on writing the fifth Search for Eden Novel. I’m almost done with the book. In fact I have written the climactic clashes that have been building for five books. And now only the falling action and the lead in to the next part of the series is left.

It surreal that I am almost done with this book. But soon I’ll have to go back to editing which I enjoy less. Especially since all the while I’ll be thinking about the next book in this series. Which marks the start of the story I really want to write. Think of the first five books as an introduction to a much larger story. And it also features a transition from Modern Fantasy to Science Fiction.

Reading and Podcasts

I have continued listening to Behind the Bastards led by Robert Evans and learning about some truly horrible people. This week, as well as the several prior, I learned about G. Gordan Liddy. And wow, I must say I didn’t realize how much of a piece of shit the man who tried and failed to orchestrate Watergate was. People who are so openly Fascist should never have been let near our government. Its clear to me that what happened then helped lead to now.

I finished Cytonic this week and was ready to move on to the final book in Brandon Sanderson‘s Skyward series. But then I discovered there was a series of three novellas that tells a story I hadn’t read yet that happened at the same time as the other story. So instead I started Skyward Flight. I’ll get to the final book once I finish this fantastic world building.

While I waited for Skyward Flight to get delivered, I went back and read a few more chapters of Mazino. I had to refresh myself with what was happening as I had stopped in the middle of a series. But once I figured out what was happening, I got to dive back into the Tower of God setting which is one of the more bizarre ones for sure.

Wrap Up

As we head through April, don’t forget to take a deep breath and let all that stress out. Its been a terrifying year so far. But the tide is turning. What we are all seeing should serve as a warning and preview of what might happen next. Things are escalating fast, and so we need to be ready to stand firm against The Felon. But when things escalate that gives off a sense of urgency. We might be rushing towards the edge of a cliff, or with some hope, perhaps the end of this nightmare instead. But we must not rush into things ourselves, even as things change quickly.

The Felon is fading, faster than ever in fact. He was rushed to a hospital this weekend. Might we get some good news soon. Less and less people are cool with him being a pedophile. So he and his handlers push fear on us because that is all they know. Even a war in the Middle East will not stop them from vanishing. And once they are gone, may their legacy be tainted by their wicked deeds. Assuming they don’t do something incredibly suicidal and brainless like launching nuclear missiles first. I still have hope things won’t reach that point.

And outside of The Felon, Capitalism, The One World Order that American Libertarians claim we need to fear while they worship it tries to reduce our lives to monetary value. It is up to us to build lives that stand in defiance of this. Art cannot be quantified by capital and that is why those in power continue to demonize it alongside Liberal Arts. Anything demonized by Fascists is something that we should all care about. Because anything they oppose is what will help bring them down.

Anyway, you know who also doesn’t understand art and sentimental stuff at all? The Felon. Let’s outlast him in 2026. As humans, let’s show love and light to those we care about. Those things are what make us better people. In fact its what makes us human. Our heartbeats are greater than anything he stands for. While he destroys, we rebuild. Our hearts craft beauty and wonder despite his parasitic presence. And we will only become stronger once he is no longer in our way. We will Survive The Felon together and unstoppable. ICE will melt and we will endure.

As a reward for making it to the end, here is a cat, sleeping on my bed.
