Surviving the Felon: Week of 7/26/2025

Admin/ July 27, 2025/ Anime, Books, Centrum Glacies, Dungeons and Dragons, Pokémon Go, Political, Surviving the Felon, The Search for Eden, Video Games

I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. And I’m tempted to change his name to The Pedophile just to make sure people never forget in the sea of madness what sort of man is currently president. That aside, how are we doing? July is almost over and there have been few to no hurricanes in the Atlantic. It’s nice that while nature is punishing us for the sins of oil companies that at least world wrecking storms have left the southeast United States alone for now.

Since a lot of the horrible stuff from last week is unchanging, perhaps this is something to be thankful for. At least things have not gotten tangibly worse in a visible way. I know that is a low bar, but bear with me here. The Felon is so desperate to silence everything involving Epstein that he’s grabbing at straws and doing everything he can to cause chaos. And he’s failing. The zone has been under a flood warning for so long now that people are starting to see through this crap and how to deal with it.

Instead of focusing on misery, I want to as usual focus on the good that exists in this world of seemingly unending darkness. Mainstream media is profiting off despair. And so the highest form of rebellion is for us to be happy. To find things that make our lives meaningful. Not only does giving us reasons to smile weaken The Felon and his kind. But it enriches the very lives they are trying to crush.

The Bad

While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage FoundationPeter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.

Things have not changed regarding the concentration camps in our country. And The Gestapo continues to harm more and more people. As we weather this storm, we have to make sure that everything they do is documented so that when we finally hold these scum of the earth accountable we can make an example of them to such a severe degree that none will follow in their footsteps. Until then, do not be afraid to make a stand against these monsters. Silence is what they want from the rest of us.

The Felon is making it even harder and more illegal to be homeless. What better way than to use the 13th Amendment to create a whole new slave class now that the illegal immigrants are not doing vital jobs? And it falls in line with one of his favorite pastimes: Making life harder for those struggling the most. I’ll be watching how this plays out with disgust since I work a job that helps homeless and those struggling to get around Central Florida.

The Good

With the bad out of the way, let’s focus on the good things happening in the world. As things continue to seem bleak and hopeless, nothing is more important than for us all to have hope. We will weather this storm and to do so especially when it feels like we are all trapped in our own caves, that little light will guide our way.

The first and most important good thing to remember is that while our government seeks to isolate the United States, we are in the age of the internet and can see that across the borders and on the other sides of oceans, we are not alone. The Felon went to Scotland and he was given the welcome he deserves. No matter how much he tries to hide his evil, the rest of the world will not play ball with him. Shame him loud and proud. Pedophiles do not get to hide in the shadows. Nor do domestic terrorists. The Felon is both.

His health is declining too. And while the Couch Humper is a dangerous puppet of the Heritage Foundation, he lacks the charisma to keep the Maga Cult under control. Given the types of conspiracy theories they tend to believe, it is my hope they will turn on the GOP at the turn of a hat. And direct their violence and hate at them instead of innocent victims like they currently are.

In other positive news, both Edwin Feulner one of the very founders of the Heritage Foundation, and Hulk Hogan well known for union busting in his line of work are both dead. And the world is a better place for it. May the Felon join them soon. His passing would be cause for a great celebration.

Transition

Well we have made it past the political part of the blog. Now I’ll transition as I always do at this point, to focusing on what made me smile this week. No matter how minor the reason might be, the activities that make our lives worth living should always be cherished. Never allow The Felon to take those things away from you. He won’t be taking them from me.

There is only so much I can do away from my house when the sun is trying to kill me and everyone else in Central Florida. But there is still plenty to do at home and at night when I dare to go into the Florida humidity willingly. Still, it gives me something to look forward to in a few months when the weather calms down and have more options of what I can do to enjoy my free time.

Video Games

I can’t go outside safely so video games continue to be my prime form of entertainment when not at work. Once more I’m playing Expedition 33 while writing this post. I made it past the first act of the game and am able to explore a lot more of the map. That also means I’m more likely to encounter enemies and bosses I have no business fighting. Good thing the game autosaves often.

I am still playing Genshin Impact and Elden Ring and likely will be for quite a long time from now. The former just has so much to add before the game ends and the latter just has so much replay value. Both games have been more than worth my time so frequently.

Baldur’s Gate 3 and Helldivers 2 have bee played less frequently, but that doesn’t mean they are lesser games. I just enjoy playing them with friends while all the other games I listed prior to that I tend to play by myself. Normally while everyone else is asleep or when I am home from work and all out of social spoons.

Pokémon Go

Its too hot outside to go on a proper hike. I’m not even going to some of the weekend events in Pokémon Go to make sure I don’t get sick outside of work. A shame because the community events are why I love playing Pokémon Go so much. And now that Aegislash got its day to break the game before being nerfed, I’ll have to wait for another event where a Pokémon truly excites me. I did manage to catch one with perfect stats though so that’s a plus.

At this point I’m playing PvP for the stardust rewards. Climbing ladder right now just doesn’t seem to be in the cards as I am once again stuck at Ace Rank. Still, every battle is a chance to get better at the game. And the more stardust and rare candies I get the sooner I play Master League.

Anime and Shows

The stacked Anime Season continues and I’ll admit I’m a little behind on my shows. So far I have watched Dandadan, Rising of the Shield Hero, and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. That leaves My Dress Up Darling, Call of the NightKaiju No. 8, and Dr. Stone.

The standout for this week is most certainly Rising of the Shield Hero. The others were exactly as I expected but Shield Hero has been incredible after two seasons that I was not impressed with. I hope this trend continues because the first season was incredible.

I did find some time for One Piece and the time skip is less than 10 episodes away. The story this season especially has been incredible and I continue to be wowed just by the sheer number of characters that are not simply forgotten but come back again and again to be relevant.

Dungeons & Dragons

Not too much to update on my Centrum Glacies Campaign. I ran a few encounters with some new mechanics that slowed down the story. And that’s fine. My players like combat and trying new things so I imagine it will give me time to prep for the next major story beats. Still, you can read what happened in this week’s session here.

Writing and Editing

I didn’t have any editing to do and took a chance to do some writing instead. But not just more towards my newest Search for Eden Novel, but more importantly for a presentation I was asked to do for a writers group. Specifically I got to explain my methods for writing antagonists as characters rather than as a plot device. I feel that things went well. I intend to fine tune the presentation and do it again. Perhaps for the same group, but I am not discounting trying with a different audience too.

Reading

This week I finally broke through depression and continued reading The Book of Dust. Turns out I stopped right before things got much better. I’m eager to keep reading now because the story is addressing ideas of tricking people into being the eyes of a police state. And we should all as people around the world reflect on how willing we are to watch each other for wrongdoing rather than watching for the good we do.

Wrap Up

Another week has gone by. Each time I wonder if I am simply moving along and not actually growing. And those doubts have darkened my days and caused me to waste an incredible amount of energy worrying about nothing. There is plenty of real stuff to worry about without my self doubt getting in the way. Which is why I spend time reflecting each week as I write what makes me smile.

Sometimes that is what we have to do. A lot of what makes us happy and brings us joy seem like minor things. Meanwhile the parts of our day that bring darkness and pain seem to be focused on far more. It sucks that our minds tend to focus so much on negative while ignoring all the wonderful things we experience. But that is why not just for myself but for everyone reading this, don’t be so hard on yourself. Allow yourself to love what you do have. Enjoy the company of people who make you happy. Read, write, and create. Don’t let anyone tell you your passions are a waste of time.

What is a waste of time is The Felon. He’s a pedophile, a rapist, a domestic terrorist, and countless other unpleasant buzzwords. Every second any of us draws breath is worth more than the sum of his entire wretched life. I know that I will pleased when I don’t have to breathe the same air as him.

But until the day comes where we no longer have to hear his voice, or hear others speak of him, let our heartbeats drown him out. Let our love for one another combat the hate he thrives on. We will Survive The Felon together in the same way we have defeated other parasites and diseases throughout human history: with bravery and innovation.

Here is a cat. And a bonus second cat.
