Centrum Glacies 2022 Session 35: Rage and Confusion
Week 35 in 2022 of this Dungeons and Dragons Campaign in Centrum Glacies fills the group with both rage and confusion.
Like my other campaign, I’m turning this one into a book series. However I’m still working on that project. Give it some time.
Anyway, just like my other campaign, there is a whole lot going on and I don’t want to elaborate on every moving piece in the story. You can see the whole thing once the book series starts hitting virtual and real shelves.

This story deals with a cruel world with some horrific twists. So far, this campaign has featured: Animals getting killed, Genocide, lots of body horror, evil cults, brainwashing, torture.
Most recently one of the party members had an eye gouged out and lost an arm. Not exactly the way it happens in Berserk, but that might have been the inspiration for it. The group at large is currently succumbing to magical wounds that appear to be turning them into Demons.

The Party fought Faxina and her summoned Demon army. She continued to scream and screech while demanding to know where Faustus was. Not willing to risk what would happen if she went to the Orc town, the party remained silent. Their temporary ally, Alin another Platinum Adventurer, also wanted to know where Faustus was. But the battle distracted them both for now.
When Faxina grew weak, she wasn’t really durable once she could no longer sneak attack people after all, she vanished. And the party was wary knowing what had happened to Jyona the last time she had tried this trick. And of course, the Demons that kept rising out of the swamp threatened the group.
Rage and confusion gripped Jyona simultaneously as she grew bewitched by a spell that forced her to run straight into the plague swarm. Which in turn put her in range of several mosquito like Demons. These conditions combined caused the woman to experience true death for roughly six seconds. Only six seconds because Malcolm cast a spell that resurrected a recently deceased person.

But even as they fight the Demons off, Faxina is lurking in the shadows. What will happen when she strikes next? And who will she attack?
