Exploring the World with Pokémon Go: Seminole Wekiva Trail 3
After my last adventure I was ready to travel down Seminole Wekiva Trail 3. I didn’t let the sudden downpour stop me.
Mile Marker 3.25:
I started my first leg down Seminole Wekiva Trail 3 by passing Mile Marker 3.25. The humid Florida air warned of incoming rain. Something the clouds were more than happy to do as well. Yet you wouldn’t know that looking at the above photos. But Florida weather is fickle. Behind me the skies already had turned dark grey.
Picking and choosing odd angles to avoid getting others in my photos, I moved down this part of the trail and enjoyed the view. Times have been tough for me. But few things are as satisfying as a peaceful walk.
Mile Marker 3.5:
Mile Marker 3.5 of Seminole Wekiva Trail is where the heavens opened up. Part of the trail became flooded. Taking pictures was much tougher. Didn’t want to ruin my phone after all. Luckily there were plenty of trees to keep me away from the worst of the rain.
You can see a sign telling me how far I was from my next destination. Sanlando Park was where I intended to stop. The rain only slowed me down. I refused to stop my adventure early.

Mile Marker 4.0:
I came to the next section of my adventure. Reaching Mile Marker 3.75 and the nearby Sanlando Park right nearby I got ready to turn around and go back the way I came. This final section of Seminole Wekiva Trail 3 had a bridge that took me across a small creek. I’m not sure why the bridge was so long.
For the last leg of my adventure down Seminole Wekiva Trail 3, I reached Sanlando Park and Mile Marker 4.0 just beyond it. From what I saw, my next adventure is gonna be an amazing one. I’m excited to check out Sanlando Park.
The rain made this walk a little more difficult than normal. But rain is just water falling from the sky. I got over it. In fact, on the way back to my car the storm stopped. The trees which had kept my dry before now were filled with rainwater. Instead I had to avoid the shade to let the humidity dry me off.
Pokémon Go:
Here is most of this section of Seminole Wekiva Trail 3 in Pokémon Go. Thanks to the rain, my time playing was limited. But from what I saw and caught, this section was better than the last one. There were actual Pokestops and Gyms along the way. You can see one of each feature above.
However, the parks that this trail travels between are still better. Namely my next destination looks extremely promising. I can’t wait to go there next.
I hatched a Meditite while exploring the trail. Unfortunately, its stats ruined what would have been an incredible Pokémon otherwise. Oh well. There are always more eggs to hatch in Pokémon Go.
After my last blog post, I had a couple concerned friends tell me that I look unhappy in all these photos. So I have decided that from here on out I’ll do my best to actually look happy in these photos.
Wrap Up:
My next adventure looks promising. Look forward to that post soon.
