Exploring the World with Pokémon Go: Greenscape Celebration Park
Continuing my journey around San Marco Florida led me to Greenscape Celebration Park. Let’s see what I found while here.
Greenscape Celebration Park was a small space. This is just about everything there was to see here. The parking lot was almost larger than the park itself. I imagine that the main users of this place are people who live nearby. I know for a fact that there is plenty of housing next to it. The fence marked the closest apartment complex.
Like the last couple parks I visited, there was a statue right at the middle. I’ll talk more about that in a moment. That in my opinion was the coolest thing I found at Greenscape Celebration Park.
I liked the statue here for a reason that made Greenscape Celebration Park unique among small parks with statues. Each side of the statue had different information on it. As someone who is a fan of using space optimally, it pleased me a lot to look at this work of art.
Moving on from that, the Saint Johns River was in view again at this park. As you can tell from the pictures, I was not too far away from my last adventure. That same I95 Bridge is in clear view.
Pokémon Go:
I unfortunately did not get a chance to get pope Pokémon Go pictures while I visited Greenscape Celebration Park, but I will say that you can find better. This park is best suited for locals who need a simple walk and a couple Pokestop spins. I think there was a Gym here at least. As there are many better spots to play Pokémon Go within a few miles of here, go to those places instead.
Since Munna floats, it had fun near the Saint Johns River and had no fear of falling in. I’m sure we will go on plenty of adventures together so look forward to it.
I’ll be checking out more parks as I prepare to move back to Orlando Florida. I have plenty of ground to cover so be ready for plenty of parks.
