Surviving the Felon: Week of 5/31/2025
I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. We are nearly into June, and Florida is heating up temperature wise. It means my options to relieve stress will be limited given that many days it will be dangerous to be outside for too long. Hence writing will be even more important over the coming months.
Social Media at least for the moment is failing to burn my brain out and leave nothing but feelings of hopelessness. Rather than freak out, I’m simply closing apps and finding things to read that have nothing to do with current events. Or if they do deal with politics, it instead through the lens of fiction. And I wholeheartedly support people taking this angle. Through, books, video games, tv shows, and movies, we can learn about the world without the ones who wish us harm influencing us.
Things as usual are looking bleak. But they always do when a dictator is clawing for power. We need to keep up the pressure as one group because the clothes have fallen off and its clear that The Felon is not only naked in body, but also in mind. He is sundowning and it might very well be that his health fades to the point where we can finally win.
The Bad
While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage Foundation, Peter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.
Anyway, that horrible bill that I talked about last week is still in the news. Which I suppose in a twisted way is a good thing because it means at least some journalists are capable of integrity and warning us about the dangers to come. The issue of course is that some politicians are shamelessly now saying the quiet parts out loud. They intend for us to die. After all everyone does according to that Iowa Senator. I wonder how The Felon would feel about that statement if it was directed towards him?
As billionaires continue to loot this country, and as The Gestapo continues kidnapping innocent people, we have to stand steadfast against them. They function on our fear. And of curse our slothful behavior beyond that. But we must stand up to them and make them buckle. They are weak and we are strong. And if we don’t remind them, things will get a whole lot worse.
The Good
I suppose its a testament to how horrible the week prior was, that at least as I wrote it, the bad section for this post doesn’t feel as bad. But we must remain vigilant. And standing up to these domestic terrorists is our best chance at not just survival but thriving on their corpses. To that end, I am proud of brave American Citizens who have done their civic duty to fight back against The Gestapo. The fact that they are using flashbang grenades indicates that they are afraid. Now is the time to show them true fear.
As The Nazi loses more and more control of our country, I want to draw attention to that black eye of his. I don’t know what caused it. And quite frankly I don’t care. Rather than focus on him, I hope he disappears. And not so that he can make more money at our expense. I hope his coffers and assets are run dry and he loses everything. May he find himself alone and with nothing as any parasite deserves.
Judges are fighting back too. Including ones I didn’t expect to stand their ground. Turns out when people have power, they don’t like losing it. I know crazy idea right? Well I encourage everyone to help keep these divisions growing. As we who stand for common sense and good band together it is our imperative to make sure that those who support The Felon and Fascism are isolated, confused, and weak.
Transition
Hope you enjoyed that little glimpse into what is going on in the United States by this armature journalist. Didn’t even have a chance to talk about the rest of the world. And that is by choice this week. I have a lot to focus on in my personal life. And its those little things that are keeping me going.
A close friend of mine passed away several weeks ago. And the last conversation I had with them was about how brave they thought I was to put The Felon on blast in this blog week after week. And so to honor their memory, I refuse to back down. Instead I’ll focus this week as I always have on what is making me smile. Because my joy means that I am denying The Felon’s despair.
Video Games
When I mention smiling, video games tend to be the number one cause. Right now as I’m writing this, I’m playing Genshin Impact. Between moments of spending resin and farming enemy drops, I have plenty of chances to get a dopamine surge to motivate me to write this blog, and to clean my house. Oblivion continues to fill a similar purpose. Though I have completed a lot of the main quests at this point and so will need to find another game as a backup.
I didn’t play Helldivers 2 nearly as much this week. But I needed a break after the intense battles for Super Earth. We won of course. Could there be any doubt that Democracy would prevail? Of course not. Its a fictional video game. Not real life.
Not only did I continue playing Tales of Symphonia, but I am also playing online with a friend who is experiencing this masterpiece for the first time. And few things bring me as much joy as watching them hit all the story beats. And speaking of social gaming, I once again returned to the Lands Between for some Elden Ring. Playing with friends is a special experience. Especially when I am not leaving my house as much outside work.
Pokémon Go
It does not look like the weather is backing down anytime soon. And that means that my travel blog along with Pokémon Go is what will suffer. Perhaps I should change gears for a bit and go on night walks. I have entertained this in the past, but perhaps its time to stop procrastinating and commit.
The new PvP season starts next week. So I’ll finally stop with my break and start battling again. I was happy to finally make Veteran this season and I hope that wasn’t a one time thing. Once I feel comfortable at Veteran it will time to make an even more difficult push towards Expert Rank.
Anime and Shows
I broke a trend and am currently caught up on Fire Force and while the last several episodes have been setup for a race towards the finale, from how this episode ended, its looking like the show will be answering a lot of questions that have been at the forefront of the story since the very beginning. Most of all I am eager to see how this show and Soul Eater are connected. And not just because the same author wrote both.
And now let’s talk about One Piece. Last week I was halfway through the Sabaody Archipelago Arc. And this week, I’m halfway through the next arc. Amazon Lily has been… interesting to say the least. Now if only Boa Hancock hadn’t kicked a cat. I might be willing to give some of her other problematic personality traits a pass. I’m sure I’ll get over it though, just like the many people who seem to like her as a character.
Dungeons & Dragons
My Centrum Glacies Campaign really took a turn for the worst this last week. The story beats will probably resonate with my players and their characters for a long time after this. If you want to read the sessions that led up to what they consider a great catastrophe, you can take a look at them here and here.
Writing and Editing
Most of this last week was dedicated to the above mentioned Dungeons & Dragons campaign. I wanted to make sure that everything was perfect with those story beats. And so I spent all my writing time that was not dedicated to this blog towards those posts and the encounters that made the last couple sessions so magical.
As I intend to have a short period of calm before I continue that main story, I’ll have some time to focus on editing and writing new content. I’m excited to see what I create next.
Reading
This week I finished The Subtle Knife and started The Amber Spyglass which is the final book in His Dark Materials. Its been a wild ride and I finished book 2 fast enough that I actually went and did some writing research before I really started digging in to the third book. I already ordered another series by the same author and I’ll talk more at length about those books in the near future. That means I intend to be finished with this series by the end of the week. But as the third book is much longer than the first two I might have some trouble making that happen.
Wrap Up
The Felon is flailing and trying his best to become a full dictator. And if not for so many fools supporting him, he would fall flat on his face. At his age, a fall could fatal. Well he’s old, even if the worst comes, he won’t be able to rule for long. I’m forever thankful that his children and close circle somehow lack the faux charisma of their Felon Leader.
But there is no need to wait and let him control everything. We cna fight back. One smile at a time we can enjoy our lives and find meaning in them. Remember that as he is not only a Domestic Terrorist but also a Sociopath, The Felon is incapable of finding joy in life. He seeks to harm our world because his world is so empty and lacking in meaning.
And like all wannabe dictators, human life has a time limit. We can seek solace in the fact that our joy will outlast him. Our heartbeats will deafen his ears. He cannot win and any victory he claims will be short term at best. Let us all celebrate our joy and happiness. We will Survive the Felon together. He will fail. And he will fall. There will be great joy and celebration when that happens.
Here is some small joy. Look at this cat.
