Exploring the World with Pokémon Go: Largo Well Park

Admin/ April 25, 2021/ Florida, North Florida, Travel

For my next adventure through San Marco, I traveled to the appropriately named Largo Well Park. Let’s see what I found.

Largo Well Park is named for two things. Largo Road and Largo Place serve as the borders of the park. There also is a well in the very center of the park. These were not the only features of course.

In fact, the multiple trees offering shade from the Florida sun were in my opinion the most striking thing about this park. Each one was more unique than the last. I spent some time just looking at them. Considering how I am often going from one location to another, or task to task, sometimes I need to just breathe.

Completing my journey around Largo Well Park, I took a few more pictures of the same spots from different angles. A few other people checked out the well while I was visiting so I made sure to give them space. Instead I focused on the other aspects of the park.

I mentioned already the green diversity here. That was my favorite part of visiting. And as usual I made sure to take a picture of a park rules sign. It helps remind me that I am not on private property. Sometimes the parks are so close to people’s homes that its easy to confuse the two.

Pokémon Go:

It seems Pokémon Go was also confused where Largo Well Park was concerned. Though a Pokestop marks the fountain, the game does not believe this to be a park at all. Unfortunately that means the spawns are low.

There is no need to come here to play Pokémon Go when just a block away is downtown San Marco. You can see the multiple Pokestops and gyms even from this picture. There is also a visible park on the map. That is gonna be my next destination.

I forgot to take a picture with Eevee while at Largo Well Park. The reason for that was because I was sto stunned that I randomly caught a shiny Snubbull. Not to worry though. I’m still going to adventure with this Eevee for a while. I’ll be sure to get more pictures with them before they evolve into an Espeon.

Here I am in front of the well at Largo Well Park. I’m wearing a mask again since many people were visiting. Until I know for sure that its safe, I’ll continue to protect others by choosing to wear this thing. It might be a while still till the pandemic comes to an end, but at least I am doing my part.

Wrap Up:

Normally I don’t announce where I’ll be going next. But it appeared in the above Pokémon Go Picture. My next adventure will take me right to the heart of San Marco. I’m excited to see what I’ll find.
