Surviving the Quarantine: Post 20
Here we are with Surviving the Quarantine Post 20. I’m exhausted while writing this. Check out the rest of the series here, cause I’m gonna make this one brief.
Most of the bad in my life right now is focused on lack of relationships and politics. I have covered both those topics extensively on this blog so there is no need to elaborate too much on them.
I will say that Biden’s stance on current events is troubling but unsurprising. There are no candidates more viable sadly, but I can’t shake the feeling that Democrats are trying to get Trump reelected on purpose. Like I get that all people in power care about is money, but you would think at least a few of them have morals they stand on.
Oh well, I suppose politicians had morals wouldn’t last long. That would just mean more graves dug for them until they learned their places as puppet figureheads. A troubling truth for my future. I hate feeling powerless.
Speaking of powerless, why is Linda Sarsour still getting any positive attention? The woman is an Antisemite who wants Israel, the rightful homeland of the Jews to be obliterated.
She is not a Feminist in the slightest as she only supports women who support her and her crooked agenda. This woman is an opportunist using her voice to spread hate and division between Jews and Muslims. She has more in common with Trump than you might think.
The Good:
Well, let’s move on to the good. I’m tired and don’t have the energy to reflect on the horrific things happening in the world.
My job has been taxing but in a positive way. I am feeling signs of burnout. But I know better than to let the opportunities and more importantly, the money I am making go to waste. Opportunity cost dictates that I make as much money at this job as I can.
Re: Zero continues to be the main attraction of my Anime Watches. Truly this show is an absolute spectacle. I will never see bunnies the same ever again. And even more is happening. Will this show threaten my top three favorite Anime? Time will tell.
But Fire Force, Misfit of Demon King Academy, and The God of High School are also puling their weight. Oh and a Certain Scientific Railgun is airing again. Fire Force especially is finally starting to come together. The most recent episode gave me a bit to think about. Not bad for a Shonen.
It was my birthday this week. So I’m part of the birthday during Covid group now. After turning 31 I don’t feel that different. Just another year reflecting on sexual inadequacy and lack of money. This is the positive part of my post so I won’t get all dramatic though.
At least I spent my birthday with friends both virtually and physically. (safely of course.) I also went and looked at the sunrise. Its been a long time since I choose to do that. Of course me being stupid, I chose a bridge that faces the wrong way to properly watch the sunrise. Oh well, at least I got to see trains.
More Good:
Thanks to my birthday and work, I only got to run one of my Dungeons and Dragons Campaigns. I might have run one of the strangest sessions ever for Cycle of Millennia. I don’t even feel comfortable talking about it. It involves Succubi, Psychic Sex, a mental orgy that engulfed 1/3 of the entire planet, and lots interplay of sex and violence. Use your imagination.
Well I didn’t get to stream as much this last week given my job is taking all of my time. However, I did manage to best one boss in Persona 4. You should check out my twitch channel.
So here is Boss 3, Shadow Yukiko.
Wrap Up:
Well this was a generally positive week, though a little of the negative managed to creep in. I fear that things are gonna turn for the worse soon since its been a while since Depression has been in the hotseat. Happiness doe snot last forever.
