Exploring the World With Pokemon Go: Lake Ivanhoe Plaza Park
Right next to Lake Ivanhoe, sits a small park. Lake Ivanhoe Plaza Park had a couple things worth noting. Let’s take a look.
I started on the east side of this small clearing of a park. But small does not always mean none. A special monument stood to greet me when I took my first steps into Lake Ivanhoe Plaza Park. Right past this area, the region opens up into a field. The perfect place for both relaxation and athletic activity.
I crossed to the middle of the park and found more of the same. That is by no means a bad thing though. The trees into fields continued across Lake Ivanhoe Plaza Park. Once I reached the other side, I found a second statue much like the first.
This area is perfect for a chance to catch your breath. I saw multiple people walking their dogs here as well. The region is in a nice neighborhood filled with cobblestone streets. Should you visit Lake Ivanhoe Park which is right nearby, make sure to take a break at this little plaza.
Sadly, while a nice place to relax in reality, Pokemon Go tells a different story about Lake Ivanhoe Plaza Park. Pictured above, 2 Pokemon Gyms and a Pokestop are visible. But what is missing is any spawns. I did not encounter a single Pokemon while in the park. For that reason, I gotta give this one a hard pass. for the game alone.
There was also a Giratina Origin Raid active the whole time I was here. No one came at any point to attempt this battle. A shame because I always do like battling in odd places. You make new friends that way.
I managed to hatch two more critters to add to my collection. The Machop was a welcome sight. The Igglybuff was not.
Next time I’ll be at another park in the Lake Ivanhoe Region. Let us hope I can find some spawns at my next destination.
