Exploring the World With Pokemon Go: Don Dudley Park
Located on the bank of Lake Concord I found my next nearby park. Don Dudley Park looks a lot like many other places I have explored. But was there anything different to distinguish it? Let’s find out.
Given that Don Dudley Park is located on a lake, it was inevitable that I would get pictures of this dominating feature. Also, since this area is just south of Lake Ivanhoe, Downtown Orlando is once again visible on the horizon.
Like some of the more recent areas I have visited, this park is a small grassy open area that hugs the lake shore. In addition, some areas are larger and allow for small scale recreation activities.
The other half of Don Dudley Park had more of the same. Though given the nice atmosphere of the neighborhood, this is not a bad thing. If looking for a casual walk, feel free to give this park a try. The quiet area is perfect for those who want a little time outside. But for those who want an all day adventure, I would recommend looking elsewhere, or check out all the parks nearby this one and go on a multi area walk.
How does Don Dudley Park measure up in Pokemon Go? Sadly, not very well. It is the same as the last couple places I visited. There were no spawns here at all and only one Pokestop. I would recommend going elsewhere for the game alone.
Between my last blog post and this one, I hatched another Tyrogue. While I do not have much use for it, perhaps I can trade it to someone.
Next time I’ll be in Titusville continuing what I discovered last week. Look forward to that next time.
