Exploring the World With Pokemon Go: Terracotta Shopping Center
After my adventure on Curry Ford Road a few days prior, I remembered how I made the claim that shopping centers are great places to play Pokemon Go. Given how my morning turned out, I ended up at the Terracotta Shopping Center. Presented with such a golden opportunity, I decided where to explore. Lets see what I found.
Initially I was going to simply take pictures of the shopping center. However, most shopping centers look similar and would turn this post into a been there done that. However, Terracotta Park is not simply called such for the flashy name.
All over the parking lot sit these terracotta statues. This rather unique feature to this shopping center captured my attention. I walked around and tried to get a photo of every single one. And there were more than the four pictured above.
Here are four more of the terracotta statues found within Terracotta Shopping Center. It really helps this area stand out from the many other places like it in Orlando. However, there is something else that drew me here. Let’s talk about it.
Pokemon Go:
Terracotta Shopping Center is a fantastic place to play Pokemon Go. While I was not here for terribly long, I caught a very diverse number of the critters including multiple starters and an Abra. I ignored the Ledyba initially, but changed my mind after I snapped this picture.
There are many Pokestops as well as a few Gyms to battle in nearby. Raids tend to pop up at said gyms fairly frequently and that is evident by the egg in the picture.
I did not get a chance to hatch any eggs this morning. Since was here for my new job and was in a bit of a rush to complete this task. This will be remedied tomorrow.
Who knows where my travels will take me next. It could be a park, or even a mall parking lot. Maybe I’ll find some other creative place to explore.
