Exploring the World With Pokemon Go: Lancaster Park
Nearby the lake of the same name sits Lancaster Park. While it is little more than a small swath of land next to the lake, I decided to see what was here.
Lancaster Park makes up for its small size with a spectacular view around the lake. I managed to miss one of the best potential shots of all though. From the right angle, downtown Orlando’s skyline is clearly visible and because I was so taken away by it, I forgot to take a picture.
Well, taken aback might be an exaggeration since the skyline is not the most impressive. really, what I was lost in the the twilight sky beginning to settle in.
Really there is not much to see here. Lancaster Park is not the place to go to play Pokemon Go. While there is a single Pokestop and critters do appear, there are many places that are significantly more optimal. The area is pretty nice though if you are looking to go for a neighborhood walk.
I hatched another Swinub while walking along the lake. This was an optimal hatch because Mamoswine will be in the game soon. As the best ice type for basically the rest of the series, I was very pleased with this.
I managed to hit level 38 later in the night. While it really was not because of my travels to Lancaster Park, it is an important milestone in my gaming experience.
