Exploring the World With Pokemon Go: Delaney Park
Delaney Park is right next door to Lake Davis Park, the location of my adventure yesterday. Sadly, I arrived here at night. The pictures I took are of an even lower quality than normal. Also since the park was closing as I was walking around, I was unable to finish hatching any eggs. Lets see what I found anyway.
When I entered the park, I first saw this fountain. It was getting dark so I could not get the best photo. The flash at least makes it look like it was lighter out. The sun was basically set when I walked past.
Most of Delaney Park is a baseball field. Given how dark it was outside, I did not even realize that I had walked up to home plate. I love walking around in the dark, but parks such as this one have little in the way of lighting. This translates to few pictures that would have turned out well.
Pokemon Go:
Here is Delaney Park in Pokemon Go. It does not look like much from here. But looks can be deceiving. See the yellow Gym? There was an EX Raid happening there while I walked around. This means that the gym is a contender for a chance to catch Deoxys as of the writing of this post. And don’t forget that Lake Como is nearby and has two more gyms that have the EX Raid Tag.
Also, lest you forget, this park is near to several more. Each of them have yielded fantastic results. Delaney Park is a Pokemon Nest like many of the others. At the moment of this being written, the Pokemon in question is Trecko. Given how close all these parks are to one another, traveling here is quite worthwhile.
Sadly, I did not get to hatch an egg today. I lacked the time to do so. I’ll make up for these continued blunders I promise. Maybe the park I see tomorrow will let me accomplish that.
