Surviving the Felon: Week of 11/15/2025

I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. November is half over and it is certainly been a month. How are we doing? Are we stressed? Excited about the holidays? Perhaps dreading how expensive things will be over the coming months? Whatever you might be feeling right now, there is a lot of not so great stuff happening in the United States and the world in general. Still, even with all the horrible things, we have to find reasons to smile. Sometimes finding a reason to take that next step is what gives the energy to take the one after.

Whenever we feel exhausted and hopeless, we have to remind ourselves that those who are oppressing us are trying to set that mood and convince us that such feelings are our normal state. Don’t let them. So long as we believe that the world can be better, especially better without the people harming us having a say, we continue to be impossible to control.

Remember that as the sun is less visible during this time of the year, there is nothing wrong with seeking out help if needed. Communities exist everywhere to help remind us that we are not alone. Even when we feel like curling into balls and letting the darkness in, we can find friendship and kinship among those who share our same fears and hopes.

The Bad

While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage FoundationPeter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.

An ordered list seems to be the best way to get through this section and so I’ll continue doing so. Negativity is the news’s specialty. And I want to focus on resisting and the positivity. But those bad things cannot be ignored. Giving it the least thought and fewest words is a proper compromise.

Gerrymandering, Everything ICE is doing in a city near you, Healthcare Costs going way up, The Felon declaring that he will run for president again, Food Stamps running out, Genocide in Sudan, Conflict in the Middle East, The Couch Humper being in the news, threats against New York City, The Felon investigating political enemies, The realization that our world is run by pedophiles

The Good

Well we made it past the bad. And as always I can breath a sigh of relief. I hate listing the horrible things. To even make that list sometimes forces me to look at news sources to gather the truth, best I can. And reading all that negativity is such a waste of energy and time. Anyway, the list is about the same length as last week. At least some of the problems from before are being replaced by new issues.

Its been a week since a blue wave struck much of the United States. And our country has not burned to the ground as The Felon claimed. Probably because the people voted in are the ones with buckets of water. The Felon would burn this country down so long as the ashes supported his vain ideas. But people are waking up to this madness and even loud members of the GOP such as Miss Space Lasers are putting their foot down.

As the Fascists turn on each other, now is the best time to encourage this division between them to continue. Keep pushing the fact that so many of their members are confirmed pedophiles. Remind people that The Felon is even more desperate to hide this fact. Do not let the topics they fear fade into the night and get drowned out by white noise. Drown out the white noise with reality and truth.

Transition

Well we have reached the end of the positive political section of the blog. I’m always happy to be done with both those sections. Even though the good is increasing, the negative part of this blog still sometimes drags me down. Those who want all of us hurting are always looking for new and creative ways to get their way. Hence why I look inwards when I want to get away from the thoughts of people like that.

There is likely more suffering for us all on the horizon. When bad people find themselves backed into a corner they tend to lash out in ways impossible to predict. Hence another reason for us to focus on ourselves when we need it. Healing our minds and bodies, one day at a time helps us find our centers.

That is why reflection on what I did each week is so important to me. I believe that we should all be doing that. We are each our own biggest supporters and finding ways we can improve and be better benefits us in innumerable ways. I’ll be posting links to the things that brought me joy. Should you need some light of your own, perhaps I can be of assistance there.

Workouts

This week I did the opposite of the prior weeks. Rather than not do the workouts at all, I did them all five days of the work week. While doing 20 reps of pushups, crunches, squats, and jumping jacks each day is much better than doing none at all, that was a little too much. Given that I work an outside job that requires I be capable of moving around, I can’t wear my body out too much.

For next week, I’m going to find that happy medium between constant workouts and taking breaks. I think once I can create a habit where I do a healthy number of sets and workouts every week, I’ll be on the way to a healthier happier me. This is a good problem to have. I look forward to learning the best way forward.

Video Games

I was outside plenty this week, and I’ll get to that in the next section, but this is the video games section and that involves what I was doing while inside. Right now, I’m trying to write my blog post faster than normal, and so I am not playing a game while writing at all. Genshin Impact will soon be in a quiet phase. Which is fine because it gives me time to catch up on other games. And when the story kicks into high gear again in a month, I’ll be ready.

When I want to game with other humans, I have been choosing Civilization 7 and Baldur’s Gate 3. The former continues to be improved each patch and the game is finally going into a state that makes me come back again and again to playing. I have spoken extensively about the latter on this blog of course. And every single playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3 is different from the last giving it almost unlimited replayability.

As far as single player fun, Pokemon Legends Z-A has been my choice this week. And its been a fun game from start to end. Is that not what any video game should be? Fun? I think people complaining on the internet about this game seem to have forgotten that. Not a surprise when they get their clicks and money from negativity. People enjoying life is bad for their business model. Oops that is approaching politics again. Silly me.

Pokémon Go

This week in Pokémon Go was a busy one. If not for a surprise cold snap I would have gone to a different raid hour every day during the week. As for the weekend, The Go Wild Area is a major flagship event for the entire year and there was plenty to do during that. Pokémon Go constantly gets me out of my house and exploring the world. While I didn’t go to a park this week for my blog, I still was out and about catching Pokémon with friends.

This week has been slower as far as PvP is concerned. After spending a lot of time thinking about this aspect of the game, I am taking it easy this week. With the events giving me plenty to do there is no issue with focus on that instead. Don’t worry, I have not forgotten that I’ll be recording some of my battles. Once I start uploading them, I’ll link to them on the blog.

Anime and Shows

Unlike last week, this time around I am caught up on all my shows. Said shows include Isekai Quartet, Gachiakuta, and To Your Eternity. What might not be expected is which one was my favorite of the three. I normally would have voted for To Your Eternity, and the episode this week was a great one, but the scenes of Gachiakuta really went above and beyond to steal my focus away this week. I’ll see how I feel next week, but a show about actual trash is becoming a truly golden story.

I also watched a few episodes of Lord of Mysteries. The show has a lot to take in and since each one is 30 minutes long if not more, that only makes it more important to pay attention. If there is any criticism of the show, its that things go way too fast sometimes. It can be hard to keep track of everything happening in this story. But when it all clicks, this is such an interesting show. And its Magic is one of the better ones I have seen in a while.

What I did not watch this week was One Piece. There are only so many hours in my day, and I focused on other shows and video games. But I’ll get back to the Straw Hats soon enough. As I am only halfway through the story, there is plenty more to watch and I’m certain that for at least another year or more I’ll be talking about this show.

Dungeons & Dragons

After another week off my campaign, I ran my Centrum Glacies Campaign again this week. Unlike the combat heavy dungeon crawl sessions that were constant for more than a month back, this week was almost completely character interaction and a little world building. That made for a long blog post filled with tons of information. If you want to check out what happens in my campaign this week, you can read that here.

Writing and Editing

For all of November, my focus is on writing my Search for Eden Novel. I’ll go back to editing my Earth Everafter Novel next month. I’m using this time to focus on writing so that I can discard any distractions that will stop me from those edits. Getting that book polished and published will go a long way to making my quality of life higher. But of course as any creative can attest, when a story demands to be written, I can’t just ignore it and focus on other work.

Reading

Once more I didn’t do a lot of reading this week. Part of that was my mind wandering. But a large part of it was just not having anything on hand that I really wanted to read. The one story that I did have access to that kept my attention was Mazino. A shame that I can only read one chapter of that a week. I’ll have more Magi to read soon and that should rejuvenate my reading spark.

Wrap Up

The Felon is mentally degrading. And all sorts of funky stuff seems to be contained in those Epstein Files. Though I fear that our government will jump to obscene and insane ends to try and take back control, I am hopeful that the American people are unified in hating pedophiles. Its clear that the ones still defending him happen to be pedophiles themselves. And while realizing lots of monsters live in this country and around the world, unmasked creatures are easier to deal with than the ones that are hidden.

But while it might seem vital that we spend all energy fighting right now, this is a time to rest and breath. Right now we should sit and watch as our enemies attack each other. If we want to fan those flames, then that is perhaps the most productive use of our energy is to figure out talking points and how we can use them to sow division in the Fascists. That way when its time for us to fight them, they will be weak and fall over to a metaphorical breeze.

Instead of getting dragged into the trenches of this battle, let us create art. A better world can emerge once this darkness is expunged. And now is the time for us to resist The Felon by planting the seeds for an improved future. When Fascism breaks apart it always gives way to a brighter and better light. Let us Resist the Felon together. Our hearts beat as one and his beats unevenly while clogged with waste and filth.

As a reward for making it to the end, here is a cat that refuses to look at me when I call his name.
