Surviving the Felon: Week of 9/14/2025
I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. This week has been a lot of chaos for a lot of people. The “see something say something” slogans that I always feared would lead to people easily turning on each other has come home to roost. Still, even if the news tries to keep the news of modern Horst Wessel a constant so that we keep trying to ruin each others lives, we will move past it. People will eventually move past it out of boredom.
As fears of right wing doxing grows more obvious, I refuse to let them silence me. They don’t know where I work, they don’t have the ability to turn my real friends against me. And The Felon holds no power over me. As people cheered me being suicidal in the past, used old incel statements to try and rile me up, and other things that tried to defend an indefensible person, I stood firm. The only reason I took down that post ultimately was because it was creating a rift between people who are my actual allies due to them being more well meaning than the people that would harm them.
I will not fear those people. Cults always crumble. And their calls for civil war have once again been canceled because of the wrong demographics being involved. In a time where I should be more afraid and hopeless, I’m not. In fact I feel empowered to speak my truth. Those who wish me harm cannot touch me. Those who are my friends know what I believe and why. I will not fear The Felon and his cultists.
The Bad
While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage Foundation, Peter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.
The news of Modern Horst Wessel had dwarfed just about everything else, but that doesn’t mean nothing is happening. People are doxing each other to try and ruin lives over opinions they don’t like. I’m not surprised by the hypocrisy and irony of these acts as Conservative Ideology has always been about in and out groups.
Meanwhile, other school shootings happened at the same time that are being ignored. In a sense, the United States has become desensitized to them almost completely at this point. But that isn’t the only thing we became desensitized to as the medias push towards one specific story was so strong that even September 11th was forgotten. Almost as if it has been forgotten by a loud group of people who use to blast about patriotism and what not.
Oh and The Closeted Heel Man is still fighting a war against rainbows. His term will end soon enough and perhaps then we can finally erase him rather than he erase the innocent of Florida. If only my state could elect sane responsible people over these hate filled psychopaths.
The Good
The bad for the week was mostly concentrated. And a lot of that was mainstream media’s doing. And so I want to start the good section out by reminding everyone that the Fascists are attacking each other for not being extreme enough. The best thing might be to stay out of their way to ensure they cause damage to each other. Don’t let them turn you into collateral damage. We can outlast them.
As expected Chicago has forced The Felon to retreat. Truly no city makes him a TACO quite like my home town. I’m proud of everyone there who stood up to him and made his life difficult. And they did without attacking the national guard. Civil disobedience works because the average person doesn’t like to be inconvenienced. Special thanks should be given to Governor Pritzker who has not let The Felon intimidate him. Instead he is a lesson that standing up to bullies weakens them.
Outside the United States, some good happened in Nepal. The government there has been oppressive to the people for a long time. Especially to their youngest generations. And so those youngsters reminded their government that they are outnumbered. They set fire to their parliament building in a show of force. And before anyone makes comparisons to January 6th, the reasons for these actions could not be more opposite if one tried.
Transition
Originally, I was planning to skip the political sections of the blog for this week. I was overwhelmed by the media posts and got dragged into the mud. It was my mistake to battle against pigeons who have made it a skill to shit over a chess board and claim victory. Those same people are likely to try shitting all over my life too. And so I won’t give them that energy. They are not worth my time. And if they are still thinking of me, then that can be called a victory as I exert my world will over their minds.
Instead I’ll transition as I always do at this point towards the things that make me smile. And there is a lot to be thankful for this week. I should never had let all the stuff going on in the United States take away from what is important to me. As usual I’ll be providing links to those things that brought me joy. Rather than push hate, Ill push more light. Its the best thing to do when a shadow fades and needs something to take its space.
Workouts
At long last I shook off my illness and started working out again. Progress is slow because I’m even weaker currently than when I first started but any progress is progress. So for the week I did 10 Pushups, 10 Crunches, 10 Squats, 1 minute of held planks, and 20 minutes if jogging. Self improvement starts with a single step. And speaking of steps, the weather will start cooling off soon. I can’t wait to go on hikes again and add that to my workout routine.
Video Games
Even though the heat is finally starting to fade, it still hot enough out there that I’m spending a lot of time inside. And inside time is video game time. This week its all about Genshin Impact. I have basically been playing this game exclusively this week. And a large part is because of the Nod Krai expansion. I have been waiting for this part of the adventure ever since Snezhnaya was first mentioned. And if this area is only a prelude of what is to come, I can’t wait.
The story has been incredible so far, dealing with lots of Fae ideas like The Wild Hunt. But as much as I am excited for folklore references, the best part of patch 6.0 by far is the fully explorable Fatui military base. This area reminds me of the Ichor Base from Jet Force Gemini and other similar places where enemies are in heavily fortified positions against you room after room. This place is scratching a special nostalgia itch.
Naturally the other major feature of this patch is Columbina. She has been my favorite Fatui Harbinger from the moment she was introduced. And she is as mysterious and Feylike as I hoped. I can’t wait to see how her story plays out.
Pokémon Go
But Genshin was not the only game I played. Of course Pokémon Go was the one thing that could get me to willingly go outside. And between farming candy during Raid Hour, and getting better at PvP, there will always be something to do in this game. I don’t see myself slowing down any time soon. Its rare that a video game of all things makes me go outside and touch grass. And so I won’t be putting it down.
Anime and Shows
I am caught up on all the Anime I’m watching that is airing this season. That list includes Dandadan,
My Dress Up Darling, Kaiju No. 8, Rising of the Shield Hero, Call of the Night Dr. Stone,
Gachiakuta, and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Quite a bit to watch each week I know
The stand out was once more Dr. Stone. It has something to do with being at the end of the story I think. Everything else is ramping up while this show is at the very end of a journey that is four seasons in the making. Of course that should be the best part of any story. I’m sad to know that the show is almost over just like I am with any story that I have invested time and emotional energy into. But stories are meant to end and I have high hopes for Dr Stone.
After gaining the ability to watch it, I caught up on Alien: Earth. And wow, this show is incredible. I’m not sure if more is coming after this season. Perhaps such a show only needs one season. But I’ll find out in a few weeks I imagine.
I made a little more progress in One Piece but I’m still in Fishman Island. I’ll see if I can sit down and finish this arc. Because I am eager to see the next several beyond it. I think about ten episodes remain of that season before I move on.
Dungeons & Dragons
This week I ran a session of my Centrum Glacies Campaign. And I made use of a lot of player feedback and reading tips and tricks on being a better Dungeon Master on reddit to put together a satisfying boss encounter. It doesn’t make use of Legendary Actions or Legendary Resistance at all. And it doesn’t need to because I already used other encounters to drain all the players resources. Not to mention the boss is highly mobile, summons other enemies and constantly makes the players have to change tactics. I’m taking notes about what made this fight work so well so that I can make more. If you want to read about it, you can take a look here.
Writing and Editing
This week I focused completely on editing my Earth Everafter Novel. I’m making good progress and feel confident that the changes my editor is pointing out at this point and digging into the specifics. My characters are being fixed so that they are consistent. Scenarios that involve interesting thought provoking ideas are being expanded, while ideas that take away from the narrative are being removed.
Reading
I finished another five volumes of Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic this week. While the Anime did adapt this part of the Manga, I am seeing the sections that were omitted and many of them make the story flow better and make me connect to the characters on a deeper level. I’ll be reading a lot more manga in the future I think.
Wrap Up
September is almost half over and while surprises from our world keep ambushing us and threatening our energy, we must not let bad actors and those who would do us harm steal our smiles and light. They will continue to try though, because their entire lives have been built on inflicting misery on others. People like The Felon are incapable of feeling happy like the rest of us. And so they seek to make everyone worse, upset at their own deficiencies while being unwilling to allow others to enjoy their lives.
We must continue sharing our feelings, and not fear what others might do to harm us for those feelings. Our empathy makes us strong, not weak. And only weak men and women believe in anything otherwise. Do not be led astray by these people. They do not care about respect or love. They are simply mad that one of their own was killed by another of their own. And as I mentioned earlier, it is best that the rest of stand out of the way so we don’t get caught up in this infighting.
As The Felon grows weaker and his comments become fewer it is time for us to press our power against him. As our hearts beat us one, let us drown out The Felon. Already the far right is tearing itself apart. And it is our duty to sit back with popcorn and watch. Never interfere when an enemy is destroying itself.
We will Survive The Felon. Together we will outlast his evil and purge the darkness on our hearts that he spreads.
Look at the kitty. Here is your reward for reading all the way to the end.
