I’m back for another installment of Surviving the Felon. We are almost halfway through April with spring in full swing in the northern hemisphere. And as the zone continues to be flooded with horrible news every moment to try and drive all the positive stories away, it is vital that we remember to find our smiles and laugh.

As powerful as The Felon seems, it is comforting to remember that he and his cronies like The Nazi are all idiots that are the very DEI Hires they claim others are. Without money none of them amount to much. Whenever you might feel depressed, feel weak, or all around find yourself in a situation where your thoughts shift to feeling of worthlessness remember that you are far more valuable than The Felon or The Nazi. And if you have even a single dollar to your name, you are a better businessman than our president.

As the jaws of the media industry tries to clamp down on us, fight them off and control your happiness. The more we ignore their screams, the faster their negative energy will die. Let us envision a future where we control them instead of them controlling us.

The Bad

While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more Heritage FoundationPeter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.

Well let’s look at what our enemies were up to this last week. The big thing that has me worried is The Felon’s ongoing battle with our court system over people illegally deported. That prison in El Salvador does not have a good track record when it comes to human rights or people surviving for that matter. If the people being demanded by even the Supreme Court are allowed to come home alive, they will cause problems for The Felon. These delays might be to ensure that he and other prisoners likely to talk are permanently silenced before then.

The tariffs with China are escalating because that country knows better than to give in to The Felons demands. The United States should learn to not make deals with terrorists. Especially when those terrorists include the President of the United States. The reason I am mentioning this in the bad section is because while those tariffs will not hurt The Felon, they will hurt you and me. Everything is about to go up in price including things that have nothing to do with the trade war. And lest we forget, prices never go back down once Capitalists realize they can fleece even more money out of people.

The Good

Well now that we are past the bad, and while that list above seems small, lots of other horrible things that we are not even hearing about are going on too. But for a moment, let’s take a deep breath and reflect on the good things happening too. Namely that countries like China are starting to stand up to The Felon. And it might be in The Felon’s best interest to remember that he is fighting against a country that has no problem punishing their capitalist class. And more importantly, historically they killed every single one of their oligarchs and landlords at one point. Actually you know what, maybe we should hope he doesn’t know that.

Protests are still happening around the country and even around the world now. As The Felon seeks to isolate the United States so that he can push for his Fascist Wet Dreams of being a dictator and conquering the world, our day to day actions of being an obstacle to him will wear him down. He’s old and not in the best health. If we keep fighting we will outlast him. And the people next in line like The Couch Humper, while horrible do not have control over The Cult.

Speaking of positive, the other thing that has me smiling is the fact that the far right is starting to break apart and attack itself. The Felon and The Nazi are both narcissists of the highest order. And neither one wants anyone more famous or above them. Which means it is our honorable duty to make sure they stay at each other’s throats. Divide and conquer has been their weapon of choice for so long. It is only fitting we give them a taste of what they have done to the rest of us.

Video Games

Like last week, I had some other things to take care of and so a lot of my Video Game time was spent on the weekend and between other tasks. To that end I still did end up playing a lot of Eldin Ring. Probably a lot more of that game than I meant to. But the nature of an open world game means that you can sink a ton of hours into it and still find new things. I found a boss that I had never fought on any of my other playthroughs for example.

I have done a few more Super Helldive Missions in Helldivers 2. And for some reason I always deem to select this difficulty when the most dangerous enemies are about. Did I do Super Helldives against the Illuminate forces which are the most limited of the three fronts? Nope, I decided for the second time now to do a Super Helldive into the Gloom where some of my least favorite Terminid Strains come out to play.

Genshin Impact is what I am currently playing while writing this blog post. And I put exploring the new region off for far too long. I’m almost done exploring the surface, but there is an entire volcano and a ruined city inside it that I have not explored more than a single step.

Stubborn as I am, I won’t be going there till I have found everything on the surface. And while I’m close, with less than 5 percent to go, those last little things tend to be the most difficult to find.

Pokémon Go

I walked a whole lot for Pokémon Go this week. And none of it for an event I even cared about. It just so happens that eggs were half distance this week. And since I only spend money on event tickets, I always try to be as optimal with incubators as I can. It is helped by the fact that several of the eggs contain Pokémon I like.

I didn’t go on an adventure for my blog this week though. Not due to laziness. In fact I went on a different walk and still had a chance to play Pokémon Go. But the walk was for a good cause, specifically MS. I don’t think anyone in my family suffers from MS but I know that lots of people in the United States do and I was more than happy to join my friends on a mile walk to show support. The event was at Blue Jacket Park which is a place I have explored on this blog. A shame that after migrating files, those images were lost.

Pokémon Go has once more tested my patience in PVP. I found a team that I like. Its just a shame that the meta for the Spring Cup keeps making Pokémon that happen to do well against my specific team more popular. But those choices keep changing and I have won some games simply by being consistent and not reacting to the meta. I’m hoping that with proper practice I can win more games and get to Veteran one day.

Anime and Shows

This week I’m a little behind on shows. Namely I have not watched the new episode of Fire Force yet. But that’s not an issue since its just one episode and takes only about 25 minutes of my time to change that. I’m curious to see how fast things will move since its clear that this season is going towards the end of the story.

I made quite a bit of progress on One Piece this week though. Now I’m firmly in the Thriller Bark arc which has been both funny and even more funny all throughout. And now I have heard Brook’s laugh plenty of times. I’m certain I’ll hear it plenty more since I still have a good 850 episodes to go at least before I am caught up.

And I can’t skip talking about Wheel of Time. A lot happened in episode 7 and it’s clear that many different story arcs might be removed or changed for the sake of a more streamlined show. There were a lot of character deaths and possible deaths in this episode which makes sense since it was a major clash between several small armies. I’m hoping for a season 4 announcement soon. After all, only one episode remains.

Dungeons & Dragons

This section is gonna be brief. I did not get to run any sessions of Dungeons & Dragons this week, and given that I’ll be in Chicago rather than at my house next week, I won’t be running a session next week either. But that doesn’t mean less writing. It means writing in a different direction.

Writing and Editing

I’m all caught up on edits towards Earth Everafter. I’ll be having my editor move forward with editing the next several segments as well as some new content I added. Its nice to finally feel like I’m moving forward on that project. The last time I had him look at things was in a strange mystical time before The Felon was president.

As far as writing, much of my focus this week was on adding more to my Search for Eden Novel. As I’m gonna be trying my best to write every single day for a writing challenge, I’ll be keeping track of my words the entire month of April and May. To that end, I wrote another 8042 words this week. Not counting my two blog posts which are themselves significant word counts, that totals up to 16,960 words I never would have written if another author had not messaged me on April 1st with a not so foolish proposition.

Given the content in this book, I’m thinking its time to replay Tales of Symphonia and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. Those games heavily inspired this novel and its essentially a love letter to both of the games. With my own extreme twists of course.

Reading

Reading this week was completely focused in on one story. And I have plenty of Tower of God to go before I am all caught up on the Webtoon. The Hell Train Arc was something else and has me completely invested in this story. I can only imagine that as I learn more about the setting, the stakes will only get more ridiculous and in the best of ways.

Wrap Up

I’m not sure if I am just numb to all the bad things happening right now or not, but April doesn’t seem to be as horrible as March was. Perhaps the fact that the world is starting to wake up and say no is giving me hope. And hope is what we desperately need as we have Fascists and Nazis ruling our country and trying their hardest to hurt as many innocent people as they can.

And while they crash our economy and make themselves rich, just remember that these pigs have empty lives that are bereft of all meaning. Remember that we are all superior men to The Felon and The Nazi. All they have is money. Their lives are all empty and devoid of any meaning. They don’t understand art. And they are incapable of love. That means more than ever that those are the things we all need to collectively focus on.

Find your passions and the things that you love in this world. It will help drown out the parasites and starve them. That’s why I focus so much of my time talking about what is making me smile. It keeps my energy away from all the negativity of social media and the flooded news. They all make money on misery. So let’s bankrupt them with hope, love, and light.

Together we can Survive The Felon as we find what brings us joy. And speaking of joy, here is a picture of my cat. The world always needs more cat photos.
