Surviving the Felon: Week of 8/08/2026
I’m back with another installment of Surviving the Felon. How was the first week of August? It was a rather peaceful one for me. Part of that is because I’m out of Florida where politics is so supercharged. But I have to be careful what I listen to even here in Illinois because I’m more exposed to the news than before. And the media owned by the very people who are making the world worse constantly fill airwaves with negativity. I’ll need to continue tuning their sickness out so that I can remain healthy.
The upcoming elections in the United States might define what happens after. And if certain bad players try to change the outcome of those elections, it is my hope that this will be the catalyst needed for us to unify and fight for a much needed change to the status quo. Nature does not wait for elections though. If we don’t deal with the consequences, then we need to reign in Capitalism before its too late.
What I outlined is a pretty daunting task. Especially considering that the powers that be don’t care about the future. And so I want to remind anyone reading this that there is nothing wrong with simply breathing. Sometimes simply choosing to exist is enough. Not every moment needs to be about the hustle and making money. That’s a trick Capitalism plays to turn us into objects instead of people. Focus on leisure time and how to maximize it. The more calm you feel, the harder it is for the ruling class to push you to the brink. Your time belongs to you. They are not allowed to take it from you. I’ll be making use of my free time while searching for a job.
The Bad
While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage Foundation, Peter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.
An ordered list seems to be the best way to get through this section and so I’ll continue doing so. Negativity is the news’s specialty. And I want to focus on resisting and the positivity. But those bad things cannot be ignored. Giving it the least thought and fewest words is a proper compromise.
Everything ICE is doing in a City near, Cover up of ICE’s Terrorism by the FBI, Bombings in Iran and around the Middle East, A world run by pedophiles, Hate Crimes against several cultures, Election Interference, The Redacted Epstein Files, People Gambling over what War Crimes will be committed next, A Global Economy Threatened due to the Iran War, Anti Immigration Riots
The Good
Well the bad hasn’t changed. That has to be good right. And I don’t mean that sarcastically. There is so much horrible in the world that the fact that nothing new has been piled on is something worth celebrating. As is the leftist takeover of the Democratic party. The fact that party leaders are freaking out about this is a good thing. If Democrats will do nothing, then they can be voted out and do nothing elsewhere. They refuse to fight the Felon and so we will continue removing them and replacing them with people who will. These votes will matter, even if the votes themselves might seem pointless. I know that seems like a weird combination of words, but as we get closer to November it should make more sense.
Data Centers continue to be fought against around the United States and around the world. These strains on our world bring no benefit and an endless amount of harm to the environment and our daily lives. And its clear based on how fast they can be built that we could focus the same effort to infrastructure and build another world. Maybe even with the same materials that we can gather from those data centers and the dangerous flock cameras. Remember that these places and items contain valuable metals. Oh and the same applies to those flock cameras.
And because it needs to be repeated each week and in this same section, more and more politicians that are not beholden to big money are scoring victories. The oligarchs are starting to lose power and trust me they will do something insane to try and take it back. We will not let them. This is our world. Our future that is at stake and its time we took it back. Meter by meter if need be. But each day we outlast them is another victory. The Felon is a corpse rotting away. We can survive him. And once he is gone, it will be time to mend our world and ensure that others like him cannot take power again.
Transition
I won’t be trapped inside and getting locked into repetition anymore. Depression and anxiety failed to get me this week, but there are some things on the horizon that might make managing my mental health more difficult. I keep thinking about how much more I could do in my life if I was not chained to a job. It makes me anxious for my future. Sometimes it feels like everything I want is slipping away.
This blog has been a check in for my friends as well as one for myself. August is here and I’m still not where I want to be. But I have found some motivation to try and reach new heights. Activities that bring me joy are so important because they keep the despair away. How much writing can I accomplish with a better head? I’m making some big changes in my life over the coming months. I’ll have more to tell when I am ready.
Anyway, its time for this blog to turn inwards and reflect. I had to battle depression and anxiety this week. Its always a threat and so it is vital that I found plenty that brought me joy. I refuse to let the mainstream media define my emotions. I’ll fight towards a better me even if I face adversity in my personal life and the world around me. The Felon will not drag me down. If you are feeling down and are searching for something to make you feel better, I’ll be providing links to those things that make me happy.
Workouts
I did more than an honest attempt this week. I did my core workouts as I am supposed to. I’ll be keeping at 25 reps for now until I get back into form.
Video Games
Well I have a job again but no paycheck yet. So I’m still playing the video games I already own. As well as watching the shows on streaming services I already pay for. Until this point, I was playing Civilization 7 but am taking as a break because my current solo game has long turns as a result of a massive army that I am slowly moving across the map. Its been a blast though as I continue to improve at the game.
Other games played this week include Elden Ring, Genshin Impact, and Resident Evil 3 Remake. I’m eagerly awaiting the next expansion in Genshin since this has been built up since Covid all the way back in 2020. Meanwhile I’m having a blast with Resident Evil 3 Remake even though its not as good as the original. Still, its a great game despite its short length. Notably the fight with Nemesis on the rooftop and the entire hospital section are high points to me.
I’ll be talking a lot more about Genshin next week. Look forward to that.
Pokémon Go
With a more mild summer, I got the chance to go outside for Pokémon Go. In fact, I explored more of the Des Plaines River Trail which you can read about here. With my new job I’m not sure if I’ll be able to consistently go to rad hours, but I’ll make an honest attempt and find ways to participate in community events.
I’m no longer unemployed, but I’m still taking a little break from my grassroots league. But things should start up in again in September. My hope is that the game will be more stable and playable by that time. Then again I might be naive.
I did however start playing PvP in the open Go Battle League again. I have not climbed this season like normal. But I’ll at least make it to Ace Rank where I normally sit. Maybe even higher than that if I decide to commit. I’ll see what I can do but no promises.
Anime and Shows
Skeleton Knight in Another World, Daemons of the Shadow Realm, and Clevatess are the shows I’m watching this season. And this time around I’m all caught up. All three shows had incredible episodes this week, but one among them stands taller. And that of course is Clevatess.
Daemons of the Shadow Realm is finally getting going though. And I think that the story is about to go in an interesting direction. I have a feeling that the story won’t be finished in a single season and am eager to know what the story intends.
of course I’m making my way through the Whole Cake Island Arc of One Piece. Just kidding. I finished that arc this week. Now I’m at the Reverie or Levely Arc depending on translation. This one is quick but is the lead up to the next arc which is the longest of them all: Wano. Several people have told me that this one is their absolute favorite arc of One Piece. And given how incredible Whole Cake was, I’m looking forward to this one too.
Dungeons & Dragons
Once more I was not able to run my Centrum Glacies Campaign this week. But for next week I should be able to make some magic happen. This arc is starting slow but is building up to plot points that started in the players session 0s. I’m expecting some great payoff story wise.
Writing and Editing
This week I was back to form, adding more to the first draft of Search for Eden 6. Science fiction is still harder for me to write than fantasy. And trying to make the setting consistent is a challenge for another draft. But I need to focus on the story. I can fix the issues outlined afterwards. Because right now, these fears are slowing down me actually writing. And that cannot be allowed.
Reading and Podcasts
I have continued listening to Behind the Bastards led by Robert Evans and learning about some truly horrible people. This week I learned about a lot of things because I spent plenty of free time listening to the podcast. To note, I learned about all the terrible people that have made Forensic Science a horrible industry. After that, I learned about Savitri Devi who is known as one of the people who made sure Nazism outlived Hitler himself. And the next couple podcasts stayed on the Nazis, with the parent gurus who raised the Hitler Youth coming right after.
But things didn’t lighten up after. In fact, the next episodes were titled “The Darkest Episode we will ever do.” And it lived up to its name. It was about the pedophiles who tricked post Nazi Germany’s Government into letting them legally molest children. Its some of the most horrible stuff I have ever learned about. And I’m sure that many of that can be tied into the horrors of today. After that, I listened to a relatively lighter episode about Joe Pyne, who is credited with being the father of right wing talk radio. Good stuff through and through.
Once more I didn’t get to read The Rose Field, but I’ll have some time soon. Not to mention train rides that will give me plenty of quiet time to check out the next page.
Wrap Up
As we move through August, don’t forget to take a deep breath and let all that stress out. Its been a terrifying year so far. But the tide is turning. What we are all seeing should serve as a warning and preview of what might happen next. Things are escalating fast, and so we need to be ready to stand firm against The Felon. But when things escalate that gives off a sense of urgency. We might be rushing towards the edge of a cliff, or with some hope, perhaps the end of this nightmare instead. But we must not rush into things ourselves, even as things change quickly.
The Felon is fading, faster than ever in fact. And his allies are falling over as well. Less and less people are cool with him being a pedophile. So he and his handlers push fear on us because that is all they know. Even trying to cancel elections will not stop us from trying to hold them accountable. And once they are gone, may their legacy be tainted by their wicked deeds. Assuming they don’t do something incredibly suicidal and brainless like launching nuclear missiles first. I still have hope things won’t reach that point.
And outside of The Felon, Capitalism, The One World Order that American Libertarians claim we need to fear while they worship it tries to reduce our lives to monetary value. It is up to us to build lives that stand in defiance of this. Art cannot be quantified by capital and that is why those in power continue to demonize it alongside Liberal Arts. Anything demonized by Fascists is something that we should all care about. Because anything they oppose is what will help bring them down.
Anyway, you know who also doesn’t understand art and sentimental stuff at all? The Felon. Let’s outlast him in 2026. As humans, let’s show love and light to those we care about. Those things are what make us better people. In fact its what makes us human. Our heartbeats are greater than anything he stands for. While he destroys, we rebuild. Our hearts craft beauty and wonder despite his parasitic presence. And we will only become stronger once he is no longer in our way. We will Survive The Felon together and unstoppable. ICE will melt and we will endure.
