Surviving the Felon: Week of 6/13/2026

Admin/ June 14, 2026/ Anime, Books, Centrum Glacies, Dungeons and Dragons, Pokémon Go, Political, Surviving the Felon, The Search for Eden, Video Games

I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. And its becoming harder to watch as people start taking the law into their own hands around the world. Notably because its clear that the law as we know it in so much of the world binds one group while protecting another. Now if only one of those groups would stop attacking itself that would be great. Cause the other group is unified. I’ll let you figure out which group is which.

Anyway, I need to protect my own energy, especially as I keep making the mistake of reading the news. Its leaving me exhausted and with little energy. After my vacation last week I’m still low on energy. And it manifested in making the mistake of skipping several outings that would have been good for me and staying home instead. I’ll need to reflect and recover so I don’t make such choices again so easily.

That energy is important so that we can resist and defy The Felon and his ilk. Especially now that The Nazi is a Trillionaire on paper. Rather than punish people like him for committing crimes against humanity, we put them on the cover of magazines and idolize them. We should be doing something very different. Something that I will not put into words, but if we were any other species besides humans, would have already happened.

The Bad

While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage FoundationPeter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.

An ordered list seems to be the best way to get through this section and so I’ll continue doing so. Negativity is the news’s specialty. And I want to focus on resisting and the positivity. But those bad things cannot be ignored. Giving it the least thought and fewest words is a proper compromise.

Everything ICE is doing in a City near, Cover up of ICE’s Terrorism by the FBI, Bombings in Iran and around the Middle East, A world run by pedophiles, Hate Crimes against several cultures, Election Interference, The Redacted Epstein Files, People Gambling over what War Crimes will be committed next, A Global Economy Threatened due to the Iran War, Anti Immigration Riots

The Good

Let’s move past the horrible things. It can feel overwhelming to spend so much time on negative things that it can leave us feeling lifeless and hopeless in equal measure. And I started this blog to defy those feelings. Instead lets look at some of the good happening in the world and renew hope in a better tomorrow. The first thing I want to mention is that there are counter protests to the anti immigration riots. And so long as people are willing to stand together in solidarity, there is always hope that those movements will grow.

I’ll keep mentioning it till its no longer a threat, but people continue to push back against data centers. Even better, the AI bubble is starting to tear at the seams as companies are starting to realize the true costs of replacing workers with flawed programs. Remember that these companies only care about making money. But in their ignorance, they have forgotten that the AI is being sold to them from another business who has seen them as the mark from the very start. May these organizations be scammed out of existence so that real jobs can replace them.

More and more politicians that are not beholden to big money are scoring victories. The oligarchs are starting to lose power and trust me they will do something insane to try and take it back. We will not let them. This is our world. Our future that is at stake and its time we took it back. Meter by meter if need be. But each day we outlast them is another victory. The Felon is a corpse rotting away. We can survive him. And once he is gone, it will be time to mend our world and ensure that others like him cannot take power again.

Transition

This week I still was in Chicago, Illinois for Pokemon GoFest. My schedule was null and void and that extended partially into next week as well. Depression struck when I got back as it normally does when I have to return to work. I always hate seeing how much more I could do in my life if I was not chained to a job. It makes me anxious for my future. Sometimes it feels like everything I want is slipping away.

This blog has been a check in for my friends as well as one for myself. June is here and I’m still not where I want to be. But I have found some motivation to try and reach new heights. Activities that bring me joy are so important because they keep the despair away. How much writing can I accomplish with a better head? I’m making some big changes in my life over the coming months. I’ll have more to tell when I am ready.

Anyway, its time for this blog to turn inwards and reflect. I had to battle depression and anxiety this week. Its always a threat and so it is vital that I found plenty that brought me joy. I refuse to let the mainstream media define my emotions. I’ll fight towards a better me even if I face adversity in my personal life and the world around me. The Felon will not drag me down. If you are feeling down and are searching for something to make you feel better, I’ll be providing links to those things that make me happy.

Workouts

Due to being on vacation for an entire week, I was not able to stick to my routine at all. But I did something else as I mentioned last week. Due to Pokémon Go and using public transit I covered plenty of ground on foot and kept myself in shape the whole time. Forced to use cars makes us less fit. I wish the entire USA had more transit options.

Video Games

Once I was back from vacation, I didn’t want to go outside much. Which left video games naturally as my go to stress reliever. Although sometimes games from my childhood cause my to struggle a bit leaving me frustrated. For example, as I write this blog post, I’m playing through Donkey Kong 64 which is testing my patience as I try to get every collectable in the game.

Elden Ring, Genshin Impact and Civilization 7 were games I played alone and with friends. None of that should surprise anyone since I mention these games on basically every blog post. They also are near each other for most games played in gaming library in general.

Once again, I’m playing Baldur’s Gate 3 with friends. With the sheer number of possibilities, I never get tired of playing this game. In fact there are many more builds for me to try both solo and with friends.

Pokémon Go

After a week on vacation for GoFest in Chicago, I took it easy after I was done. But don’t fret, I created a ton of content towards exploring the world last week. And posted all of it for that matter. I think I have earned a break. That means something since I usually feel like I’m wasting my life whenever I rest.

I’m still doing battles in my PvP grassroots league. There just are not any active tournaments that I am a part of right now. There will be more soon. The season is just not starting anew until September I think. I’ll find some little tournaments to take part in until the big one starts back up.

As far as GoBattle League I’m taking my time so I don’t get burned out. I spent a lot of my time on Pokémon Go last week. It wouldn’t do me any good to burn out and not want to play anymore when so much of the gameplay has ben a mental health boost.

Anime and Shows

Despite being on vacation, I was able to catch up on everything I’m watching. Those shows include:  Re:ZeroWitch Hat Atelier, and Daemons of the Shadow Realm, and Dr. Stone.

I imagine that Re:Zero will continue to be the standout. This is an exceptional season of an already exceptional show. Its a shame for Witch Hat Atelier that its airing at the same time. Because that show is incredible too. But Re:Zero is one of my favorite stories of all time so it will hard to beat it.

I’m making my way through the Whole Cake Island Arc of One Piece. I’m digging in, pun intended. This is my favorite arc post time skip. I am at the edge of my seat as an ever larger number of plots converge into a satisfying story. This is shaping up to be a truly nightmarish story arc. And the stakes only are getting more insane as these plots all come to fruition.

Dungeons & Dragons

After several weeks off, I finally got to run a session of my Centrum Glacies Campaign. Funny enough, the big point that I was building towards didn’t land because the character involved had died long ago in real life so my players forgot who they were. However, something I didn’t think they would care about actually caused the group to fragment and cause a different sort of conflict. Seeing these things happen organically is why I like being a Dungeon Master.

If you would like to read about what happened, you can check it out here. Try and predict what I wanted them to react to and then laugh as you see what they did do instead.

Writing and Editing

I didn’t write much of my Search for Eden Novel this week. Instead I spent most of when I wasn’t on vacation writing my last Surviving the Felon post as well as all the GoFest ones. This week, things will return back to normal. No more vacations for a long while. I had my fun.

Reading and Podcasts

I have continued listening to Behind the Bastards led by Robert Evans and learning about some truly horrible people. This week I learned about the Finders Cult and the all too many clues that the CIA might have in some form been involved with them. In addition, I learned about the weird cult that Tech Bros have built around AI. But mostly around themselves to convince people to create a future that benefits only them.

I also continued reading The Rose Field which is the final book in Phillip Pullman’s Book of Dust Series. I’m eager to finish this series, though it saddens me that I’ll have to hunt for new reading material after.

Wrap Up

As we head through June, don’t forget to take a deep breath and let all that stress out. Its been a terrifying year so far. But the tide is turning. What we are all seeing should serve as a warning and preview of what might happen next. Things are escalating fast, and so we need to be ready to stand firm against The Felon. But when things escalate that gives off a sense of urgency. We might be rushing towards the edge of a cliff, or with some hope, perhaps the end of this nightmare instead. But we must not rush into things ourselves, even as things change quickly.

The Felon is fading, faster than ever in fact. Less and less people are cool with him being a pedophile. So he and his handlers push fear on us because that is all they know. Even trying to cancel elections will not stop us from trying to hold them accountable. And once they are gone, may their legacy be tainted by their wicked deeds. Assuming they don’t do something incredibly suicidal and brainless like launching nuclear missiles first. I still have hope things won’t reach that point.

And outside of The Felon, Capitalism, The One World Order that American Libertarians claim we need to fear while they worship it tries to reduce our lives to monetary value. It is up to us to build lives that stand in defiance of this. Art cannot be quantified by capital and that is why those in power continue to demonize it alongside Liberal Arts. Anything demonized by Fascists is something that we should all care about. Because anything they oppose is what will help bring them down.

Anyway, you know who also doesn’t understand art and sentimental stuff at all? The Felon. Let’s outlast him in 2026. As humans, let’s show love and light to those we care about. Those things are what make us better people. In fact its what makes us human. Our heartbeats are greater than anything he stands for. While he destroys, we rebuild. Our hearts craft beauty and wonder despite his parasitic presence. And we will only become stronger once he is no longer in our way. We will Survive The Felon together and unstoppable. ICE will melt and we will endure.

As a reward for making it to the end, here is a sleeping cat.
