Surviving the Felon: Week of 5/02/2026

I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. We have made it to May in the second year of this madness. And midterm fears are starting to mount as those of us that are sane are watching those who lack sanity do their best to ruin everything for the rest of us. Which is why we need to stand firm. I know that people feel like voting doesn’t matter, but ironically because of what the Fascists are doing, your vote may matter this time more than ever. Especially in primaries.

Remember that if voting didn’t make a difference, The Felon and his toadies wouldn’t be trying so hard to make it difficult for us to do so. Their propaganda news networks are working overtime to convince us that our voices do not matter. We must push past all these voices and make use of our own.

May Day just passed and even though in the United States Labor Day is also celebrated on the first Monday of September, we must remember the true Labor Day observed around the world. The wealthy elites see the rest of us as cattle. And so we must instead refuse to do what they want. When we have the energy, we must resist their wants and take our needs back from these parasites. We can remove them from our lives. They are pests that can be ripped away. And when their rot finally fades from our world, we can smile with stronger hearts and happier lives.

The Bad

While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage FoundationPeter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.

An ordered list seems to be the best way to get through this section and so I’ll continue doing so. Negativity is the news’s specialty. And I want to focus on resisting and the positivity. But those bad things cannot be ignored. Giving it the least thought and fewest words is a proper compromise.

Everything ICE is doing in a city near, Cover up of ICE’s Terrorism by the FBI, Healthcare Costs going way up, Genocide in Sudan, Bombings in Iran and around the Middle East, A world run by pedophiles, Attacks against Jews, Election Interference, Rising Tensions between Japan and China, The Redacted Epstein Files, People gambling over what war crimes will be committed next, A Global Economy Threatened due to the Iran War

The Good

Well, we got all the bad out of the way, so let’s focus on the good. And I want to start by reiterating because its important that voting does do something. But it is not the end all be all. Voting is the beginning. And as it becomes more clear around the United States, progressive can win and are winning. We need to continue this push to make a future that is hostile to Fascism and religious extremism.

The push for better workers pay continues to catch fire. And data centers keep being stopped around the country. Turns out that if you push the working class and kick them while they are down for too long, we start to bite back. The turn around will be slow, and I fear that our pedophile masters will not take our acts of defiance sitting down. But history has shown that they eventually get their just desserts. We must keep fighting them. Even if we seem like nothing more than gnats, a giant swarm can accomplish a lot.

And lest we feel like The Felon is unstoppable, the fractures in his base are cracking into large segments. The rest of us should fan those flames when we can. The very division they sowed to ensure that the working class would not be able to unify can be used back at them. Break apart their support and the opposition to these pedophiles can grow. The tensions between his supporters continue to grow and we need to start metaphorically shoving those weakest into the void.

Transition

This week I was hindered by a Florida heat wave. Summer is coming soon and that means I have to change where I find positive energy from. Even with my mood better, I have to maintain my energy or I could fluctuate too far the other direction and become Manic and insufferable. And of course what goes up must come down. Each day is another where I risk falling back into Depression. And Anxiety episodes strike when least expected.

This blog has been a check in for my friends as well as one for myself. April is heading towards its second full week and I’m still not where I want to be. But I have found some motivation to try and reach new heights. Activities that bring me joy are so important because they keep the despair away. How much writing can I accomplish with a better head?

Anyway, its time for this blog to turn inwards and reflect. I had to battle depression and anxiety this week. Its always a threat and so it is vital that I found plenty that brought me joy. I refuse to let the mainstream media define my emotions. I’ll fight towards a better me even if I face adversity in my personal life and the world around me. The Felon will not drag me down. If you are feeling down and are searching for something to make you feel better, I’ll be providing links to those things that

Workouts

This week I continued at my increased number of reps. 20 of each set doesn’t seem like a lot, but habits are best done with a slow build up. I am proud of myself for committing to a healthier body even if I have a lot more work to do before I can be completely content. And I’m pleased that I’m not as sore right now as I was the last time I upped my reps. Those results tell a story on their own.

Video Games

Well with the heat keeping me inside, I as always turned to video games as my addiction and coping mechanism of choice. I noticed of late that instead of seeking out new experiences, I kept playing the same games over and over. This week I changed that. Right now, while writing this blog post, I’m playing Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. I never got the chance to play this when I was a kid and so I’m making up for that now.

Elden Ring and Genshin Impact are as usual constant games. And Civilization 7 has been my multiplayer game of choice when I want to hang with friends on voice chat. People hate on the internet and there are good reasons for those feelings, but it also allows us to interact with friends and family from far away. When I am depressed, playing an online game with friends helps break me out of that fetal position shell.

This week, I finished Metroid Prime 4 and loved the ending. It really is proof that I cannot let other people’s feelings on a game distort my own. Finishing the game helped motivate me to start Gale of Darkness. And I intend to play other games on Nintendo Switch that I missed out on as a kid afterwards.

Pokémon Go

While I did not go on a hike for my travel blog this week due to the weather, that did not mean that Pokémon Go was not a major part of my daily activities. Instead it was battling in tournaments in game that I spent most of my time on. I did well this week winning many of my matchups, and even the ones I did not I took at least one game off my better skilled opponents.

As for the big tournament that actually means something for my team, we didn’t battle this week. Unfortunately our record wasn’t high enough for us to battle the other highly ranked teams this time around. Better luck next week when we will get a chance to compete again to try and raise our rankings.

Where I feel like I am stalling is in the Go Battle League. It has been several seasons since I made Veteran and I have been unable to make it back there since. I know I’m improving, but not at a consistent rate. I think I need to start streaming my games again and get feedback from my teammates.

Anime and Shows

A new season of Anime continues and with several shows for me to watch. This season I’m watching: Re:ZeroDaemons of the Shadow RealmWitch Hat Atelier, and Dr. Stone.

The standout this week was Witch Hat Atelier. After a few weeks of being second fiddle to Re:Zero, this week it managed to pull ahead in my opinion. But that doesn’t mean its more to my liking than one of my favorite stories of all time. It just proves that its a fantastic show its own right. Both are stories I highly recommend. And lest anyone forgets, Witch Hat Atelier is not a Shonen Anime. Its Seinen and written with those themes in mind.

I made it to the Whole Cake Island Arc of One Piece. And I hear this is a fantastic Arc. I can’t wait to dig in, pun intended.

I finished season 4 of The Boys. Before I continue, I have two seasons of Gen V to watch before I watch the final season. I’ll see how far I can get into that show this week.

Dungeons & Dragons

This week my Centrum Glacies Campaign finished that major milestone I kept mentioning the last few weeks. An entire arc has ended. And it was a long time coming as my players have reminded me. The next arc won’t last as long as this one required a ton of setup to really run. The world building really helped, and will help the next few parts of the story flow far better.

If you want to read the conclusion of a story arc three real life years in the making, you can read the blog post here.

Writing and Editing

I completed most of my Earth Everafter Book 1 edits. At least up to where my editor is. That doesn’t mean I’m done cleaning up this novel. But it does mean I am that much closer to publishing it. I’ll have to rewrite two entire chapters before I can let me editor help me clean up the rest. But with what changes we have made, they will be that much better for it.

I also continued writing the next Search for Eden Novel. I’ll have a lot of research to do since this novel is much more science fiction than anything else I have ever written. Anyway, that is something to look forward to once I finish edits. As well as a convenient excuse to not edit as fast as I should be. Between figuring out space travel and unique planet biology, I have my work cut out for me. And this is only a few chapters in.

Reading and Podcasts

I have continued listening to Behind the Bastards led by Robert Evans and learning about some truly horrible people. This week I learned about the Holy Rollers Sex Cult which managed to draw women in because somehow this was still a better place to be than how other men treated them. Also I learned even more about Sam Bankman-Fried and how Michal Lewis revealed himself as a bastard by refusing to admit he had been wrong about this con artist.

I used this week to catch up on the Urek Mazino Spinoff Webtoon. His goofy antics have been suppressed due to an actually dangerous enemy. I wonder what will happen once this story arc concludes?

Wrap Up

As we head into the first week of May, don’t forget to take a deep breath and let all that stress out. Its been a terrifying year so far. But the tide is turning. What we are all seeing should serve as a warning and preview of what might happen next. Things are escalating fast, and so we need to be ready to stand firm against The Felon. But when things escalate that gives off a sense of urgency. We might be rushing towards the edge of a cliff, or with some hope, perhaps the end of this nightmare instead. But we must not rush into things ourselves, even as things change quickly.

The Felon is fading, faster than ever in fact. Less and less people are cool with him being a pedophile. So he and his handlers push fear on us because that is all they know. Even trying to cancel elections will not stop us from trying to hold them accountable. And once they are gone, may their legacy be tainted by their wicked deeds. Assuming they don’t do something incredibly suicidal and brainless like launching nuclear missiles first. I still have hope things won’t reach that point.

And outside of The Felon, Capitalism, The One World Order that American Libertarians claim we need to fear while they worship it tries to reduce our lives to monetary value. It is up to us to build lives that stand in defiance of this. Art cannot be quantified by capital and that is why those in power continue to demonize it alongside Liberal Arts. Anything demonized by Fascists is something that we should all care about. Because anything they oppose is what will help bring them down.

Anyway, you know who also doesn’t understand art and sentimental stuff at all? The Felon. Let’s outlast him in 2026. As humans, let’s show love and light to those we care about. Those things are what make us better people. In fact its what makes us human. Our heartbeats are greater than anything he stands for. While he destroys, we rebuild. Our hearts craft beauty and wonder despite his parasitic presence. And we will only become stronger once he is no longer in our way. We will Survive The Felon together and unstoppable. ICE will melt and we will endure.

As a reward for making it to the end, here is a loafing cat on a chair he is destroying.
