Surviving the Felon: Week of 11/29/2025
I’m back with another installment of Surviving the Felon. November ends soon and Thanksgiving is past us now. Is it just me or are there less terrible things happening? Those things that we are noticing are a lot worse than what was happening before but things seem different. Perhaps we are more numb to the evil happening around us?
Or perhaps the Fascists are already at each other’s gates. Fear and paranoia drive all their thoughts. The media networks they own push this fear on the rest of us while profiting off our misery. But so long as we stand firm and refuse to succumb to the same hate and fear that they live and breathe, we can stand against them.
There are people fleeing The Felon and his dark movement. And we can welcome these people back as they escape the cult. Just remember to be careful about fully opening up to them. Deprograming takes time. Helping people reintegrate into reality can take a lifetime of energy that we just don’t have. There is nothing wrong with extending an arm while looking out for yourself.
The Bad
While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage Foundation, Peter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.
An ordered list seems to be the best way to get through this section and so I’ll continue doing so. Negativity is the news’s specialty. And I want to focus on resisting and the positivity. But those bad things cannot be ignored. Giving it the least thought and fewest words is a proper compromise.
Everything ICE is doing in a city near you, Healthcare Costs going way up, Food Stamps running out, Genocide in Sudan, Conflict in the Middle East, The Felon investigating political enemies, The realization that our world is run by pedophiles, Rising Antisemitism, threats of violence against politicians who don’t obey The Felon, rising threats of war in Venezuela, the Military being forced to obey illegal orders
The Good
Well the bad is past now as far as this post is concerned. So let’s move beyond that and look at what the news won’t look at. The positive things that happened this week is where we should focus our energy. Uplifting stories and light in the world not only doesn’t make the news anywhere near as much money, but also makes us feel good. A win win for everyone but Capitalists. I want to start by pointing out that I got to delete a few entries on the bad list. And I only added a single entry.
This week I want to start with a state that I normally have few nice things to say about. Indiana surprisingly stood against The Felon and for a reason I can get behind. Turns out that the easiest way to get a Conservative to do the right thing is to have a policy harm them directly. In this case, The Felon’s comments on those with disabilities was too much for a prominent member of the Indiana Government who put a stop to gerrymandering ambitions in the state.
Meanwhile Ice is melting and being frozen in several cities including Chicago. I’m proud of my hometown for doing what needs to be done to stand up to them. This gestapo army is filled with incompetent buffoons who are being recorded so that when we take these people to court over the consequences of their actions, we can finish what the original Nuremburg Trials started.
Transition
After a week taking a break from all the stress of the news, I took another week off for Thanksgiving. Politics has been stressful this entire year, but this part of the year is stressful for me in general. Thanksgiving has historically not been a good time of the year for me. And last year not only did The Felon become president and mark a year of darkness ahead, but around the same time, a former roommate stole from me and almost upended my entire life.
This blog has become a check in for friends, a newsletter of sorts and a reality check for myself. Each week I get a chance to reflect on how I was feeling. As well as giving me a chance to address where I am doing better and where I am not. And since Thanksgiving just passed, I have to say that this year was an improvement at least on that end. The Felon may still be president, but November did not break my spirit as it has in the past despite that.
Now its time to pivot away from the politics and darker topics. I’ll be focusing a lot more on what I did this week. Thanksgiving has always been a harder time for me, and looking at what I did to make this one a more positive experience will help me reflect and improve as a person. A better me can stand against Fascism and The Felon.
Workouts
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday seems to be the winning ticket for workouts. This marks two weeks in a row where I have committed to what I promised myself. Even better, this past Friday I worked a different shift at my job that left me tired and angry when I got him. In fact on Black Friday that workout helped me break out of the funk and enjoy my weekend.
Video Games
The weather was perfect and I should have gone outside for a hike. But I didn’t. Instead I played video games, with both friends and alone. In fact video games are how I spent most of Thanksgiving. While most people enjoyed the holiday in groups, I am finding I like to be alone. And while alone I spent a lot of time playing Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker. Reliving my childhood was a healing experience.
Currently I am playing Civilization 7 which I am enjoying despite all the criticism. And I see a few issues with the game, notably where multiplayer is involved, but those are minor problems compared to how I am enjoying the game. I think I’ll be spending a lot of time playing this game. Both with friends and by myself.
Other games I played this week include Genshin Impact, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Pokemon Legends Z-A. I imagine you will see these games mentioned over the next several weeks if not months. Genshin Impact of course has been mentioned every single week on this blog. I have been playing that game since Covid and have no intention of stopping that any time soon. Baldur’s Gate 3 is so much fun with friends and even playing multiple campaigns with the same group is entertaining.
Pokémon Go
I did not go on an adventure this week. I could have but used my energy to make it through the weekend after Thanksgiving mostly with video games. Specifically the ones that have me stay inside. I mentioned those above, but that doesn’t mean I left Pokémon Go by the wayside.
As far as PvP was concerned, I am taking a break for the last week of the season. I won’t be making it to Veteran Rank, and intend to play a lot of battles next season for reason I’ll share in upcoming posts. But know that I am far more excited for next season than the current one.
Since I stayed inside, I missed a couple events in game this week. But I needed this weekend to refresh and recover. In a few weeks I’ll be going on an incredible adventure. It will be its own dedicated blog post if not two different ones. I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but look forward to something incredible Pokémon Go related soon.
Anime and Shows
This week I didn’t watch all my shows. And I’m a bit disappointed in myself for that mistake because the two I need to catch up on were deep into major story beats. To Your Eternity, and Spy x Family have been getting better each week. I’ll make sure to check them out properly and do my best to watch the next episodes before next week too.
Isekai Quartet, and Gachiakuta are the shows I did watch. And once again the latter was the better show of the week. I might be dogpiling onto the former, but a 10 minute comedy of shorts will not measure up to a serious show with an engaging storyline and art style I like.
While I did not have a chance to watch Lord of Mysteries this week, I did watch a few episodes of One Piece. I’m slowly making my way through Dressrosa and while the show feels like it drags a lot, I know that everything will be worth getting through. This arc is interesting dealing with tons of story arcs all at once. I just wish the pacing was better. A general criticism of One Piece overall.
Dungeons & Dragons
This week Thanksgiving as it always does, fell on a Thursday. I run my campaigns on Thursdays. I assume you can see the problem. So we didn’t play this week. There wasn’t a blog post to write, and I need to see how the fight my party is currently locked into plays out before I can figure out where to take the story next. But I know by next week I’ll have a better idea of how that will play out.
Writing and Editing
A lot of this paragraph might as well be what I wrote last week, so I’ll paraphrase it another way. I focused on my Search for Eden Novel in one final push to be in the spirit of a former writing event that lost its way. I also lost my way this November as I didn’t write anywhere near 50,000 words this year. Feeling a little defeated, I’ll be going back to editing in December. But I will continue to press on with that novel. I am close to finishing it and am excited to reach the final chapters.
Reading
Once again I was waiting on Manga to arrive in the mail. And my reading for the week was pretty pathetic otherwise. All I completed was another chapter of Mazino. At least that series is keeping my attention.
Wrap Up
The Felon is degrading and the people trying to gain power through his incompetence are trying to figure out how they can be the next leader. Those of us who are rational and sane have a duty to make sure that these people continue fighting each other and leaving one another weak and exhausted. That way everyone else can retake our world from these sociopaths and put Fascism back to bed.
But we can’t use too much energy sowing divisions among the people who tried to do the same to us. Instead, pick and choose what you do, and focus most of your time to enriching your own life. What Fascism fears, and what the media organizations lose money from is a human collective that comes together and realizes that our differences are arbitrary. People around the world have a lot more in common than not. At least those who don’t lack empathy at least.
The Felon’s health is failing. His mind is failing. His dreams our failing. Everything has always been failure for The Felon. And at long last when he fails at life too, we will endure. Our heartbeats are greater than anything he stands for. While he destroys, we rebuild. Our hearts craft beauty and wonder despite his parasitic presence. And we will only become stronger once he is no longer in our way. We will Survive The Felon together and unstoppable.

As a reward for reaching the end, here is a cat.
