Surviving the Felon: Week of 10/11/2025
I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. Somehow things are ramping up as The Felon is trying his hardest to make every week worst than the last. Still, he can’t drag me down this week. Not when the weather is finally starting to cool off. I’ll soon have more tools to stave off depression. More ability to protect my energy. An excess of power that I can use to resist The Felon.
People are being snatched for voicing opinions that run contrary to The Felon. Which means we need to all collectively do it. They cannot stop us all. Even though the media and history classes might convince us otherwise. If our voices did not pose a threat to them, they would not be silencing us.
The Felon is growing sicker. And his followers are starting to lash out at one another as they realize power will be hard won by them. And this gives me hope because Fascism cannot last forever when those who desire power within such a system will always look for new enemies.
The Bad
While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage Foundation, Peter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.
The negative section of this blog is the least important part. If you want negativity, the news is right there and has a monopoly on it. Still I can’t just ignore what’s going on in the world so here is a compromise. Instead of doing full write ups for the bad, I’m just gonna list a bunch of bad things happening.
Ice attacking innocent people in Chicago, The Felon trying to target people who speak out against him, Qatar getting a chance to maintain troops in US Territory, Government Shut Down, CDC Mas Layoffs, RFK Jr spouting nonsense about Autism, Religious Extremism taking control of school.
The Good
Well, now that its a long list, the bad can be a blink and you will miss it segment. And that is vital as several people have told me that they want to read this content but are scared away by that section. And as I am not trying to spread more negativity, I think its a happy compromise. So I am spreading plenty of positive energy and good with this change.
Anyway, as bad as what is going on in Chicago, the city continues to resist. And alongside Portland and other US cities that are defying The Felon have found peaceful methods. Notably making Fascists out to be jokes rather than as legitimate threats is a powerful way of resisting them. And so we need to wear costumes and prove that ICE and The Felon are nothing more than fools.
Also pleasing as I mentioned sooner is that members of the GOP are turning on The Felon. And it is my hope that this will continue. Schisms and infighting are a non violent way for rational Americans to retake control of our country. And will our enemies bicker with each other, we will have the chance to draw up a new constitution that will ensure that The Felon or someone like him will never be able to be our leader ever again.
Transition
Well its another week and another chance on this blog for me to move beyond politics. I’m feeling a lot better and feeling more productive all the while. I kicked depression to the curb at least for a few days and had the energy not only to enjoy my weekend, but used some free time to visit my friends and socialize with the people who care about me.
Before I transition to what I did that brought me smiles and happiness this week, I want to remind everyone that little things that make you smile are not any less valid than those big things. A lot of little joy can add up and make it much harder for the powers that be to shove you down a despair hill. This is a fight we are all in together. If any of the links I post in my weekly activities sections interest you, then I’ll feel even better knowing that I did something positive for others.
Workouts
Even though I felt better, depression still kept me from working out. Its frustrating that despite saying I would commit I still can’t seem to- just kidding! The weather finally cooled off and so even though I didn’t do my normal workouts, I did go on a seven mile hike. I have a whole blog post written for that adventure and I’ll talk more about it in a bit.
Video Games
It might finally be better outside, but that doesn’t mean I don’t choose video games as a source for leisure time. Just like last week, Civilization 7 is the game I’m playing as I write this post. The game is a lot better than critics claim and I am getting into a good rhythm as I learn the ins and outs of the mechanics.
Genshin Impact patch 6.0 was a massive game changer for me. I’m even more locked into the story than I was before. And 6.1 is just around the corner. This game has kept me from falling into dark thoughts most of the time since Covid all the way back on 2020. And the game has not gotten stale with age, but better.
Helldivers 2 was the third game I spent a lot of time on this week. Last last time, its a game that makes me laugh plenty and sometimes in the face of overwhelming negativity, realizing how absurd it all is can be liberating. The more explosions, the more chaotic and fun this game that mocks Fascism gets.
Pokémon Go
I mentioned earlier that I went on a seven mile hike this week. That is the newest edition of my Travel Blog. All summer I had to take a break from that, but no longer. If you want to read about that adventure and how even slight rain didn’t keep me down, you can check that out here.
As for regular adventures Raid hour kept me busy and engaging with another community that I have felt nothing but positive around. I look forward to raid hours and community day events because I have excuses to leave my house and hang out with like minded people. That is when the community day is worth while. The one this weekend was not. (Runiclus is just not a good Pokémon in Go.
As for PvP, I did some battles in a tournament. In fact it was my first week ever doing so. Sadly I didn’t do so well. Instead of winning a lot and boosting my confidence, I lost all three of my matches. One of them decisively. My team is having me sub out for the week so I can get some practice in and improve.
Anime and Shows
With the Fall Season of Anime in full swing, there are a few new shows I’m watching. The season is not as stacked as the last one, but there are a few bangers that have my attention. Notably Gachiakuta completely blasted away my expectations in the best way while also leaving me numb. I don’t want to spoil the surprise but the episode that aired this week was intense and with no trigger warning to tip me off.
As for new shows, the two that have my focus are To Your Eternity and Spy x Family. The first one is a lot more serious and is honestly unique enough that I don’t really know how to talk about it without spoiling the story. Meanwhile the second is a comedy that has moments of serious and a lot of dramatic irony all around.
Lord of Mysteries is a show that I am watching slowly. But am enjoying the time that is spent. Each episode is between 30 and 40 minutes and as I mentioned last week the story moves fast. I am going to watch everything and do my best to keep track of things, but might have to look up some story beats to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
One Piece took me on a journey deeper into Dressrosa. A lot is going on in this arc so far and I noticed that the Straw Hats are split up. Knowing what tends to happen when the party is split in One Piece, I have a feeling that some serious story beats are coming my way and soon.
Dungeons & Dragons
This was the first week of several where I won’t be running my Centrum Glacies Campaign. There are two more weeks before the adventure will continue as my players have some real life events that they need to focus on. Its nothing to worry about. Its all positive stuff. And I know that after these next three weeks, everyone will be back and ready to continue the adventure.
Writing and Editing
This week I got to focus even more on writing my Earth Everafter Novel and got to finally put down on the page a chapter that I have thought about writing for years. But I never skipped ahead to it because there was too much going on around it for me to even think of writing out of order.
And I get a whole week to focus on the story even more. My editor is hard at work looking at my Earth Everafter Novel and I am content to let him work at his pace. He has not led me wrong so far and can’t wait to see how I can improve that novel.
Reading
I went on quite an adventure reading wise this week. Mostly because I didn’t have a Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic issue to read. Instead I first finished up Vran the Chaos Warped and a few short stories that finished up a few plot threads that were not resolved in the main novel. The Author’s website can be found here. I always do what I can to support other authors.
After finishing Vran the Chaos Warped, I moved on to the Urek Mazino Tower of God Spinoff webtoon. And the story had me laughing almost nonstop. Unfortunately only the first ten issues were free to read and the rest will become free week by week. It will be best for me to wait until several are out before reading again.
As I ran out of Tower of God to read, I moved to a different Webtoon that was featured as an Anime that rushed through the early story and then was not renewed for another season. After hearing the written story was much better, I decided to check it out. That Webtoon is The God of High School and while its premise is silly, the story is- just kidding the story is silly too and that’s ok.
Wrap Up
Spooky Season is here and I refuse to let The Felon distract me from my favorite time of the year. As the weather cools, I will be able to go on more hikes. I don’t intend to stop fighting against Fascism as things improve mentally for me. In fact, I’ll be fighting that much harder. There will be more protests and people standing against him. I intend to peacefully use my First Amendment Right both here and on the streets of Florida to voice my malcontent for The Felon.
Why would I want a man who is a terrorist, rapist, pedophile, and of course major felon to lead this nation. He deserves prison or worse for his crimes. Not rewards for his vile deeds. And I certainly do not want The Couch Humper or The Other Nazi to rule either. Naturally all those people are puppets to even worse people. Taking them out of politics will be difficult. But we can’t see it as impossible to dismantle Capitalism and make something better.
I refuse to let how the past has created our present to ensure a bleak future. My heart yearns for a better tomorrow. And I am willing to fight for it alongside countless others. Let our heartbeats drown out this evil. Let us stand even more unified than those who wish to see us harmed. My those who seek to harm the USA battle each other and find themselves outnumbered and weak.
Let us Survive The Felon and his minions together. We will prevail over them.

As a reward for making it all the way to the end, here is a cat.
