Surviving the Felon: Week of 9/20/2025
I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. Its almost the end of September and the end of summer in the northern hemisphere. As the weather starts cooling off, it will be even more important that we stand up and are visibly showing how we feel about The Felon and his ilk. He is trying in every way possible to silence opposition. And that means said opposition is strong enough to keep him up at night.
I still refuse to let the fear of retaliation silence me. And you shouldn’t either. I get the fact that we are worried about being doxed and our jobs cutting us loose. But there are ways to protect yourself on that front. Not to mention that this very threat existing should put into perspective just how quickly we can seemingly lose control of our own lives. A perfect reminder why we need to stand firm against the evil spreading like a virus all around us.
We cannot fear these people. They are giant man babies and spoiled brats that are used to getting their way. And they are choosing violence and hatred when their egos are checked. But we can shatter their fragile minds by continuing to stand up to them. They are weak and few while we are strong and numerous. Do not give up the fight. It is not hopeless even if we feel so.
The Bad
While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage Foundation, Peter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.
This week I want to focus on censorship completely. This week and last, it has been the focus by The Felon to make sure his critics lose their voice. I refuse to be silent and neither should you. Fascism wins when the opposition is scared into silence. Lots of people have told me otherwise and I refuse to listen to them. The bad things in the United States will only get much worse if we stop fighting back.
What is clear from all these media actions is that they always wanted Fascism. After all, those in power have a chance to make an unbelievable amount of money. And from a corporations standpoint, being able to silence the opposition is a wonderful bonus. Capitalism hates competition. It desires monopoly so that supply and demand are meaningless. Demagogues present an easy path to this.
But don’t forget that The Felon is also a pedophile, rapist, terrorist, and Nazi. His depravity can go to unimaginable levels which is why we must stand firm against all the bad he and those supporting him cause.
The Good
Before I get into the good, we must remember not to feel hopeless. The main media companies might be clamping down on free speech, but the internet is far too large for any country to control. Not even North Korea can completely control what their citizens think. And when Nepal tried to stop the internet from spreading information, their citizens banded together and put their government in their place.
Remember that your communities are where you can build alliances that protect one another from The Felon and his goons. Just as communities in several European countries prevented the Nazis from killing a single Jew within their borders, we can stand with our neighbors and prevent ICE from kidnapping innocent people.
Chicago continues to win against The Felon and his Gestapo have even stooped to attacking citizens out of rage. But as they lash out, it is another sign that they are weak. It might be horrible that they have actually killed people at this point but it was inevitable given their ranks are made up of men with fragile egos that are armed. And people will die. We are at war with the ruling class. But history is on our side. And we will be the victors who right about what happened here.
Do not fall silent. Together we can make too much noise for the to snuff out. And since anger is the strongest emotion of The Felon’s Cult, they will continue to harm one another when they can’t hurt us. We should encourage their infighting. It weakens them and strengthens everyone else.
Transition
As always, its time to move away from politics. I can’t stand up and fight if I don’t have hope for a better world. And I do so by immersing myself in art of all kinds. Honestly I’m surprised it took me so long to realize that everything else I talk about on this blog, from what makes me smile, to the very reasons I keep choosing life over suicide is all related to different art forms.
From video games, to books, to writing, and even music art is what keeps the world worth fighting for. And that is why I never will trust anyone who devalues the liberal arts in any way. A person who does wants a darker and more cruel world. And despite the fact that I write a whole lot about darker and crueler worlds, I don’t want this real one we live in to be so terrible. And so if you are not doing so great right now, don’t forget to immerse yourself in what makes you smile. I’ll be sharing links to the things helping me do so.
Workouts
Before I move onto what kept me mentally healthy, I want to talk about what I’m doing to stay physically active. While I have a job that keeps me on the move, I also managed to do a small workout of 20 pushups, 20 crunches, and 20 squats. Its not much yet, but I’m trying to build a habit that won’t be easily erased if I end up stuck in bed due to sickness.
Normally I would have tried going for a run too, but Pokémon Go brought me outside this weekend for a Raid Event. I’ll talk more about that in a moment, but I did walk more than 2 miles on the first day of the event. And I’m sure I’ll travel even more on the second day. Its the same day as the one I am writing this post on, so whatever I accomplish will be mentioned in next week’s post.
Video Games
The summer is almost over. But the Florida heat is here for a little while longer. But I would be playing video games even if perfect weather was around me all day every day. I still spent a ton of time exploring Nod Krai in Genshin Impact. But it wasn’t the only game I played. I don’t want to get through the content too fast otherwise I might get burned out and as this is one of my favorite games, that won’t do.
I also played some Civilization 7 and even though so many people on the internet are treating it like the worst video game ever made, I’m still enjoying it. I won’t let all the negativity about the game keep me from enjoying it. There are tons of flaws for sure, but this game will likely have more added to it over time that will fix these problems. Hopefully they won’t cost an arm and a leg or I might change my mind on this game.
I also played Expedition 33 and Baldur’s Gate 3. It seems fitting that I would play the best game of this year and the best game of a few years back in the same week. Though they are different genres, they feel similar in a few ways. One that I cannot ignore is how the iron hand of capitalism was shooed away in both cases. Share holder value being a top priority makes for inferior products.
Pokémon Go
I mentioned Pokémon Go earlier, but we made it to its section proper. Anyway, this weekend I joined up with lots of other trainers to catch several Shadow Groudon. How convenient that a PvP cup involving its primal form is also happening this week. I don’t know how I will do in Master League just yet. I barely have enough powered up teams for it. But I feel like this is my chance to try. The worst that will happen is that I’ll have a longer climb from Ace to Veteran.
Soon the weather will cool off and I’ll be going on hikes again. Its my hope that there will be plenty of events in game to make sure I’m catching some cool stuff along the way. But even if that is not the case, no other video game has gotten me to touch beyond grass and see the world quite like Pokémon Go.
Anime and Shows
As I’m writing this post, I have been catching up on my large Summer Anime List. That list includes Dandadan, My Dress Up Darling, Kaiju No. 8, Rising of the Shield Hero, Call of the Night Dr. Stone, Gachiakuta, and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. The last on the list is what I’m currently watching as I write this section of the blog.
Once again Dr Stone is the clear winner. But that doesn’t surprise me since its at the very end of the story. I have been saying the same things about it week after week. I’m hopeful that a few of the other shows listed above will have just as much of an emotional impact when they reach the ends of their stories too.
Alien: Earth is also reaching its season finale. And while its not an anime and so is not being compared to the list above, the show is exceptional. There are lots of characters all doing their own thing with differing shades of morality. The producers really nailed that aspect of the setting and I can’t wait to see all the violence and carnage that will be happening in the final episode of the season next week.
Speaking of other shows that are in their own category, One Piece finally picked up its pace a bit better. I’m finally past Fishman Island. Punk Hazard has been a much more interesting story so far. Probably helps that there are a lot more familiar faces in this arc than the last.
Dungeons & Dragons
A story arc is coming to a close soon in my Centrum Glacies Campaign. And I can’t be more excited about the story beats coming up. But first the party will have to fight through a prison with some extremely dangerous denizens while one certain Dragon has to find their way to the rest of the group. You can read about their chaos here.
Writing and Editing
I could have copy and pasted what I wrote last week. Instead I’ll try writing that exact same paragraph in different words. I spent most of the week editing my Earth Everafter Novel. I still have some work to do before I am caught up to my editor and already know that every paragraph after where he stopped will take more and more work to clean up. But that is the very reason I’m paying an editor. I want this novel to be as near perfect as can be when its published.
Reading
I’m getting close to where the Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic Manga overtakes the Anime. And I’m eager to read those parts the most. The Anime never resolved the main story or really explained what was going on. I want answers and know that the Manga’s later volumes will give me them.
Wrap Up
We are at the end of tail of both September and the summer itself. I know its been a tough year so far but we have three more months to go. Let’s try our best to enjoy the fall before a cold winter sets in. What we must not let go cold is our feelings of rebellion. We cannot let The Felon do as he wishes. Even if how we stand up is small, a large army of ants will easily overtake a wasp.
If the big news stations will silence the truth, then we will use the greater internet to do so. They can’t silence us all, as much as they wish to. And neither can they arrest everyone. Though again they might try to so we have to be ready to protect ourselves. Naturally if we can turn the hatred of the Fascists on each other, our world will be a much safer one for everyone else.
But a safer world only feels so if its a better one too. We should all aspire to make the world better for everyone. Whether it be through community service, creating art, writing songs, or putting down thoughts and feelings in a blog, everything we do to enrich our lives matters. Especially the parts that are not monetized by Capitalism. Focus on the things that the ruling class claims is not important. They only view their selfishness as worth anything.
We will drown their selfishness out. The Felon will be defeated by our hearts and souls in unison. He is nothing more than a rapist, pedophile, terrorist, and felon. We are strong. He is wretched and weak.

Look the adorable kitty. Never forget all the cute things in the world that make it better.
