Surviving the Felon: Week of 6/21/2025
I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. Are we ok? I hope so because we are only through most of June and have a long way to go. And with much more madness to endure. Which is why as I say every single week it is vital for us to find our light and joy in this world. Too many people n power make their fortunes off our misery. And we cannot let these people get what they want.
Even small gestures of kindness can fight back against this crushing despair. Capitalism needs misery to boost never-ending profits. Like any other cancer, it continues with the idea of unlimited growth ignoring the fact that its host can only take so much. We can’t blast Capitalism with radiation, but smiles, love, and light can put in some serious work to holding it back. So long as we have hope that things will not always be how they are now, there is a chance for a better future.
Communities proved that they are strong and ready to resist The Felon. We are fighting back against the divide with even people that once supported him having second thoughts. Now is our chance to welcome back those who were betrayed by The Cult and feel politically homeless. Let them back into the very communities they scorned and we have the chance to get them to bring more people against The Felon. And the army of hope that is needed to stop this madness can always use more people willing to fight the good fight.
The Bad
While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage Foundation, Peter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.
Well the USA is now attacking Iran. I’ll admit I’m a bit surprised that The Felon actually did it. Considering that Qatar bribed him with an airplane, and The Window Shover controls him, I assumed that he would actually side with Iran against Israel. Still, us joining that war is not a good thing. At least for now I’ll be watching this closely, but I don’t have much more to say on it that hasn’t been mentioned in past posts. I’ll have something positive to say about it in the next section. I know trying to find positivity in war is hard but I have to try.
Meanwhile back at home, The Felon continues to be a stochastic terrorist by having ICE kidnap more and more people. This will likely continue and get worse. Even politicians are being seized and attacked. Meanwhile the Gestapo mask their faces to protect themselves knowing full well what they are doing. I wonder how long it will be before people start tearing their masks off?
And its only been a week since a terrorist attacked and killed Democrat politicians in Minnesota. I’m seeing more people energized in all the wrong ways by this incident. Given that The Felon loves when people kill those he does not like, I foresee no punishment coming for these actions which will in turn encourage more people to act on their worst impulses.
The Good
Well that was an awful lot of text about an awful lot of horrible stuff. How can I turn the tone around for the rest of this post? Well, let’s start with Iran again. I’ll admit that I’m getting burned out talking about this issue again and again, but what I will say, is that if the current Iran regime falls quickly, that would actually be a massive net positive for the world. Such an explanation requires its own blog post. And I’m feeling more and more compelled to write about it every day.
The biggest net positive I see as far as American politics is the divide between groups on how we deal with the situation between Iran and Israel. And divisions among the Fascists only weakens them further. We must remain vigilant since when The Felon starts to lose power he will grow desperate and even more insane to try and hold onto it.
That is if his health holds. Which there are increasing signs that he is in decline. While I do fear a President Couch Humper, there are far less risks of our elections being gone for good during the Midterms In a year when we can try and take this country back if he is in charge. My hope is that while we can’t change the results of the election even if it turns out The Felon cheated to win, it does help us prepare in case they try to cheat again.
To that end, I hope that The Felon and The Nazi continue to fight. So long as they clash, they cannot work together to steal everything from us. Instead, we must all unify to stand against them both. And we should encourage them to hate one another as much as we can.
Transition
Well I focused a bit on the world and the United States. But a lot of those things drain my energy and leave me depressed. Hence as usual, let’s transition to what I was up to this week and what I’m leaning on to make sure I can stay happy in a world profiting from despair.
I’m still fighting against depression as it continues being way too hot outside to go on walks. But I’m working through that and finding other ways to smile. The biggest hurdle is making sure I am socializing with friends instead of staying cooped up in my house every moment I’m not at work.
With the sun bearing down and not showing signs of letting up until near my birthday in September, it will be quite a challenge. But I’m always up for those. And perhaps I can find some time to go on a walk at night. Though its still pretty humid even then. Not to mention I have to deal with mosquitos.
Video Games
Well let’s start on the main thing I do since I can’t go outside and touch grass. Let’s talk about my video game addiction that I refuse to treat. Rather than impede me, I continue to use video games to motivate me to do chores and work while breaking up tasks with moments of play. Currently I’m playing Genshin Impact which should be no surprise. I’m excited currently because after waiting since Covid for her, Skirk is finally playable and her story quest was one of my favorite in the entire game.
When I am not playing Genshin Impact, I’m most likely playing Oblivion or Elden Ring. Both games have clear checkpoints between tasks that let me break up some of the harder work I do at home. Though I’m nearing completion of the main quest of Oblivion and finished all the Guild Quests. Such a game has near limitless content, but I’ll probably be taking a break from that game soon. Elden Ring however I keep coming back to.
I played a bit of Helldivers 2 this week. Though a lot of it was solo despite friends hitting me up to join in the fun. The reason I have not gamed with friends as much is because I have been playing Baldur’s Gate 3. Honor mode has been quite a challenge but engaging fully with everything the game has to offer is what the entire point of the hardest difficulty is.
Pokémon Go
Pokémon Go this week felt like a little lull before a big storm event. Which makes sense because a massive event is coming this next week. I will be braving the sun outside of work, which is risky I know, but Go Fest is coming up. and the week leading up to it is filled with Raid Hours every single day of the week. I might need to stay in my car to avoid heat exhaustion, but I intend to make use of this event to get ever close to the next level in game.
Its been a rough week in PvP. I’m back to Ace Rank at least but having no Great League Cup and Master League still being out of reach means I have been playing in Ultra League which I have few full teams built for. But that will end soon and I’ll have a chance to properly try climbing in Great League. I have made it to Veteran before and I can do it again.
Anime and Shows
I’m caught up on Fire Force and this week I liked the episode a lot more. The characters I care about are active and the ones that I don’t remember are off doing things off screen. The battles have always been one of my favorite parts of the show, especially when the mind trippy Adolla stuff happens. And since the show is reaching its conclusion soon, I imagine there will be more of that.
But as good as Fire Force was, it doesn’t hold a candle, or should I say, sail to the part of One Piece I’m watching. The Marineford Arc is showing me just why people love One Piece so much. I’m approaching the 500th episode mark which isn’t even half way through the story. But I have made good headway so far and ever intention of watching the rest. I’m committed and now that some of the big players are running around to give me a taste of what I am in for, I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Dungeons & Dragons
This week was once again a heavy lore related session in my Centrum Glacies Campaign. As the players continued to grapple with what had happened in the Feywild, I let them come to decisions about how they will act in their world organically. But all peaceful things must come to an end. This campaign has plenty of violence to go around.
You can read the blog post about last week here. Things ended with a bang as they accepted another Platinum Rank commission. Knowing that another event similar to the Feywild or the Cursed Jungle was coming up, they are prepared for new horrors. Or so they thought until actual Aberrations appeared.
Writing and Editing
I did a lot more writing than editing this week. But not due to exploring the world outside. Mostly I added more to Search for Eden as I work through the first draft of my fifth novel in that series. Before I get to a clash that will shake the entire story to its core, I need to finish up a rather somber character arc. A single lie has the potential to create problems and a division between characters for the foreseeable future. And since many people who are currently allies won’t be as later books happen, I think this might be the catalyst I need to set things off.
As for editing Earth Everafter, editing is hard. And yes, I know I need to dedicate more time to it. This novel has the potential to free me from my 9 to 5 if all goes well. But editing is hard. I like more than fixing.
Reading
I’m still not quite done with The Amber Spyglass and I can’t blame it only on depression either. I think at its core, I’m not enjoying this book as much as the rest of the series. Perhaps the book is just taking on too much at once. In my opinion, the first half of this book should have been a separate book to let all the different settings explored all breath. Instead everything feels rushed to me. At least I’m almost to the end, and from what I have read online, the next two books that serve as a bridge to this one vastly improve the issues I have with the series.
Wrap Up
Well, we made it through another week. I have plenty to make use of to smile and I hope you do too. The Felon is growing more insane and belligerent as his health deteriorates and he continues to be stood up to by the American people and the world. If there is anything to be thankful for concerning him, its that he is a fool. Without anything important that makes his life meaningful. But if he was smarter, we would be in much more trouble. Though I imagine it would not be nearly as chaotic.
The Couch Humper continues to be silent. I imagine its cause he’s a puppet of the oligarchs who are all waiting for The Felon to pass away so they can openly take over the country. Their aims involve the world. And like all others who have tried they will fail. It’s their egos and the delusion of being rich that makes them think they are better than others.
Yet it is everyone combating these lunatics and psychopaths that brings light and hope into the world. So long as even a single heart beats against Fascism, it cannot win. And so we must all stand together, our hearts drowning out their wills, their voices, and any ill beliefs they might carry in the soulless bodies. We must stand firm against Fascism. Check on your friends and neighbors. We are working towards a better community and with those safeguards, ICE will melt and kindness and warmth will win through.
Look at this cat not caring about The Felon are really any of the things I mentioned above. If you are feeling burned out, be like cat.
