Surviving the Felon: Week of 04/19/2025
I’m back with another instalment of Surviving the Felon. Its almost the end of April and a lot happened this month. Just like the last of course. It would be remarkable if every month isn’t just like this one. Overwhelming with constant fears of where our futures might lie that is. But it is far too early for us to give up hope.
The idea that anyone can be snatched off the streets and disappeared is a frightening thought. In fact its one that threatened to take over my entire imagination and distract me from the things that I enjoy and love. But it is a cautionary tale as well. While the world seems to be getting worse, we must not surrender to hopelessness and despair. That is The Felon’s goal. The Nazi would love nothing more than for us to abandon all our hopes and dreams and give up.
And so, even as their state sponsored media propaganda outlets try their best to smother our hopes and joy, it is vital that we stand for what we care about. Remember that all of them are human. Many of them not in the best of health for that matter. Even on our most horrific days we can have the hope of living longer than them and outlasting these wicked people. Especially if it seems impossible, now is the time to focus on what we love and makes us smile.
The Bad
While the news tries to control what we are worried about, don’t forget to learn more about the Heritage Foundation, Peter Thiel, and Curtis Yarvin. These are our real enemies, alongside The Window Shover of course. I’m putting this at the start of The Bad Section because I feel like this is by far the most important thing to get out of the negative.
Anyway, let’s get the bad out of the way. I mentioned already how I’m growing increasingly afraid of random people getting picked off the street and disappeared for the crime of existing as an undesirable. I realize that I might have too much of an opinion on my importance, but its a fear that has been festering in my mind for a long time. Be careful out there everyone. But don’t surrender to their wills either. That makes them only that much more powerful and dangerous.
The other big horrible thing also manages to have a major effect on me since I’m in the category of people being attacked. The Brain Worm has once again drummed out the old conspiracy about Vaccines causing Autism. As a reminder, from someone who is on the Spectrum, the reason more people with Autism are being diagnosed is a combination of better science being able to spot it and even more importantly, laws making it illegal to torture and kill people on the Spectrum. Something I imagine the Nazis are eager to once more do.
And don’t forget, long before the Nazis existed, people on the Autism Spectrum were called Changelings. Yes people used to believe that we were evil Fey Spirits. Which of course did not bode well for anyone that was labeled as such. We must not go back to any of that.
The Good
Well that was a lot of bad this week. Especially since quite a bit of it impacts me directly. But now that we are past the negative, let’s talk about some of the positive. And I want to start by giving a shoutout to our members of Congress who finally stood up to The Felon. Flying out to El Salvador to try and free a kidnapped American is an admirable thing. And even though the Government there simply put on a show, its an important first step for putting a stop to all this.
Protests continue against The Felon. And The Nazi continues to lose money due to being well… a Nazi among other things. Keep the pressure on. Control freaks hate being stood up to. And showing that we don’t fear them is the first step to defeating a bully. Many of these people are just men children who have never been stood up to in their lives. Which is why we need to make up for lost time and punish them again and again. No amount is too much when it comes to standing up to these worthless parasites.
I’m also enjoying watching the Far Right attack itself. Many of their supporters are suddenly being harmed. Which in a sense serves them right. No one should desire the harm of others without understanding there is a very real chance of being caught in those same crosshairs. If this is what it takes to turn people against The Felon, then may all these people suffer the consequences of their actions swiftly.
Transition
Over the last few months now, I have written those blog posts to give some peace and hope in this horrifying times. And I do this in two ways. The first is by looking at the big picture with both the good and the bad being mentioned, but also by sharing what is giving me smiles and laughs as I work through these dark times.
But I found it jarring how I would go from one to the other without a transition section. I’m fixing that with this post and I’ll find some way moving forward to continue with this little section that separates them. The reason I share my passions and joys alongside links is not only to tell you about what makes me smile, but also for those of you reading this who need something to pull them out of their own darkness a chance to discover something new that might help with that.
Video Games
To the surprise of no one who has been reading this blog all this time, a lot of my free time has been spent on video games. And a majority of that video game has been dedicated to Eldin Ring. After sinking more than 300 hours into it, I finally cleared the main game on one of my characters. I still have the DLC to beat and the game again on several other characters. It will be a while till I’m completely done.
This week I was on vacation visiting family. That of course means I did not play as much Helldivers 2 as I can’t exactly bring my Playstation with me. Instead, I turned on my Switch for the first time in a long while and played Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom. I’m not sure why I stopped playing it since its honestly a well designed game and feels much more like Legend of Zelda than Breath of the Wild in my opinion.
I also spent a fair amount of time playing Genshin Impact. In fact I have the game on right now while I’m writing this. I’m already a good way into exploring the volcano in Natlan. And the story quest there has been exactly what I would expect from this game. It’s why I keep playing after all. Oh and the story is about Dragons. Everything is better with Dragons.
Pokémon Go
Since I was in Illinois this week, I took the chance to hike another segment of the Des Plaines River Trail. And on that 8 mile hike I hatched plenty of eggs. Best of all, a few of them even hatched into Tinkatink which happens to evolve into one of my favorite Pokémon Tinkaton. I’m already planning a Great League Team using it. Hopefully it will work.
Spring Cup is almost over and for that I am thankful. While I did enjoy the team I ran for almost the whole two weeks, the meta is starting to get stale, and there are certain teams that I just auto lose to that unfortunately became really popular over the last few days. I’ll see how I feel about PvP in a few weeks when the meta changes once more.
Anime and Shows
I am properly caught up on Fire Force for the week. I was visiting family and my brother is also watching the show. So we caught up on it together. The story seems to be rushing towards a climactic clash and I’m hoping along the way that many of the story beats will be resolved and wrapped up. It has been a few years since the last season and I had to refresh myself on the many things happening in the story and some of the more important characters.
While I did get a little further into Thriller Bark, I need to step up my game on watching One Piece. I won’t be on vacation next week which means I have no excuses.
Speaking of vacation, due to being out of town, I’m not caught up on Wheel of Time as of this blog post. I keep hearing a lot happened in the season finale, and once I’m back home, I intend to waste little time in finally watching it. The third season has been a massive improvement overall and I hope that the show is renewed for a well deserved fourth season.
Dungeons & Dragons
As I mentioned in my last post, I put my Dungeons & Dragons Campaign on hold for a few weeks while I was out of town. I’m hoping that next week we can resume everything in earnest. There is a lot I’m about to unleash on my players and cannot contain my excitement easily. But for the sake of the best story I can put on, I’ll constrain myself a bit longer.
Writing and Editing
While I am putting together the sections I need my editor to look at, I have been focused completely on writing my Search for Eden 5 Novel. And I have made great strides since I started. The first segment of the book was a bit of a slog to write cause it was almost all setup and quiet character interactions before an explosive second act.
Well I made it to the second act and couldn’t be more pleased with how its turning out so far. I feel like the rest of the book will be a simple matter to write. Naturally it won’t be a simple matter to edit, but I have a long way to go before I even think of editing this story. For now I’ll enjoy the journey of writing it.
For this week, I wrote a total 11,439 words which does not include this blog post or the prior two. I’m pretty proud of myself for not letting all the stress of my personal life, or everything happening around the world prevent me from doing so. The total outside those blog posts is now up to 28,399 words.
Reading
I made some progress in reading Tower of God. But there is still plenty to go and I have no intention of reading anything else till I’m caught up. The Anime for this story was decent, but the Webtoon is almost a completely different story. And its really pulled me in. Just hoping that at some point I get answers to the increasing number of questions the plot keeps presenting.
Wrap Up
Last time I talked about how I feared I was becoming numb to all the horrible things happening. This week proved that I am not. And while worry about all the happenings in the world is taking my energy away, I know I am ready to fight to take it back. We all need to stand together against The Felon and we can use our passions and joys to drive him away.
I won’t sugarcoat it. Things are looking more dire by the day. But that is why more than ever I refuse to fear him. And I’ll prove it right here. The Felon is a Terrorist and I don’t care how much he will try to subvert the law to paint everyone else with that same brush. He fits every description of the word. I don’t know how the United States will look when The Felon, The Nazi, The Couch Humper, the Brain Worm, and all their other little minions are finally removed like all parasites must be, but I intend to see that world.
Together we can stand up to The Felon. We will drive out his evil and stand united and stronger than before he appeared to try and break us. We must all band together to protect our friends, family, and all loved ones from his SS Goons in ICE. Every time we stand up for what is right, we erode their power. So let’s all stand as one and Survive The Felon together. With our hearts beating together and their sounds overpowering his wicked little mind.
Here’s a picture of my cat. Sometimes I gotta end the heavy things with a little bundle of floof and smiles.
