Exploring the World with Pokémon Go: Sterling Park
For my next adventure, I visited Sterling Park. Not far from my last few adventures, I couldn’t wait to discover even more of Casselberry Florida.
Sterling Park might not be large size wise, but there is plenty to do here. Though I’ll admit that since I don’t live here, this park was not tailored towards me. For example, I couldn’t go into the pool since I didn’t have a key that I’ll assume locals own. But that was fine. There was plenty to see outside of this park’s center piece.
Adjacent to a golf course, I didn’t go walk the path that I saw nearby. Pretty sure that only golfers were supposed to step on that greenway. I’m not really aware of golf etiquette so I chose not to get into a situation I didn’t understand.
Sterling Park also features a basketball court and a playground. Like I said, plenty to do in this small space. Not bad for a local park at all. I might not be the target user of this park, but I still enjoyed my time here. Sometimes we just need a green space to refresh and recharge.
Pokémon Go:
Sterling Park had several features in its small space, but how does it measure up in Pokémon Go? Considering that the place isn’t marked as a park in game, I was worried that it would be disappointing. Well it was better than I hoped. Maybe its cause the golf course was right there, but the spawns were plentiful. Not bad considering there was only Pokestop.
This might not be the most optimal place to play Pokémon Go, but if you are looking for a chance for some peace and quiet, it might be worth the adventure. If you live here and can visit the pool however, well you might as well go for a swim. Don’t bring your phone in the water though. Well unless your phone can survive water. Anyway, please don’t break your phone. I don’t want to be held liable for something like that.
This Axew has been my buddy for a while. While the journey with this baby dragon is coming close to its end, its been fun adventuring with them. I wonder who I will adventure with next?
Here I am smiling at Sterling Park. Not every adventure has to be long, but all these times I spend in a greenspace help me refresh and recharge. Florida has been a bit dangerous lately cause Covid is spreading everywhere. So a little adventure was what I needed. I stayed away from people to be on the safe side.
