Exploring the World with Pokémon Go: Dew Drop Park
My next stop while checking out the parks in Casselberry was Dew Drop Park. Considering Pokémon Go and even Google Maps didn’t know what was here, I was in for a treat.
I didn’t know what I was going to find when I arrived at Dew Drop Park, but I don’t regret my visit. In the early morning I drove back over to Casselberry and follow my map to the park that multiple signs on prior adventures had mentioned.
Dew Drop Park is entered by a narrow dirt driveway. I almost missed it when I made it here. But once I got past that narrow spot, the park opened up. There was a lot to see.
Like my last adventure, this park has a lot of properly used greenspace. Unlike the last park, this one has basketball, volleyball, and a playground to differentiate itself. In the early morning, I was the only one here. Pristine silence in a truly hidden park. There are few things like it.
Of course one can’t ignore a sunrise over a lake. The way the light catches the water is something I never got bored of. A shame that so many trees dot the shoreline. I probably should have gone closer and snapped a few more pictures.
I wish this park wasn’t so hidden. This was a good find, and I don’t live too far away. Perhaps I’ll return here some day.
Pokémon Go:
This park that wasn’t even marked as one in Pokemon Go had a lot more spawns than it had any right to. If you are looking to catch some Pokemon quickly without going too far, I would give this park a chance. I stepped near the Pokestop and no joke saw almost 20 Pokemon spawn.
I have no idea what the park on the other side of the lake is. It says Dew Drop Park according to the Gym, but that can’t be because that is where I was.
Axew had fun at Dew Drop Park. And why not, there is plenty here for a baby Dragon to see and do. I still have some adventures left with this little buddy, but soon it will evolve into Haxorus and I’ll take another Pokémon on adventures.
Here I am, pleased with another adventure. I’m not sure where I’ll be traveling next, but the journey is sometimes more exciting than the destination.
