Centrum Glacies 2021 Session 15: New Enemies
Week 15 in 2021 of this Dungeons and Dragons Campaign in Centrum Glacies finally is taking the party to the Abyssal Continent. They made new enemies.
Like my other campaign, I’m turning this one into a book series. However I’m still working on that project. Give it some time.
Anyway, just like my other campaign, there is a whole lot going on and I don’t want to elaborate on every moving piece in the story. You can see the whole thing once the book series starts hitting virtual and real shelves.

This story deals with a cruel world with some horrific twists. So far, this campaign has featured: Animals getting killed, Genocide, lots of body horror, evil cults, brainwashing, torture.
Most recently one of the party members had an eye gouged out and lost an arm. Not exactly the way it happens in Berserk, but that might have been the inspiration for it. The group at large is currently succumbing to magical wounds that appear to be turning them into Demons.

As they continued their way through the frozen canyon, the party ran to a nearby campfire. Since the fires were still burning, the group knew that people had been here recently. But all they had encountered so far had been Demons. What had happened to these people?
Making their way towards another fire, they watched as some humans called for help and were abducted instead of rescued. The group tried in vain to save the would be victims, but the Demons that captured them could fly.
Still not all the creatures got away. The party attacked the ones that remained behind.
Cowards:
However, one Demon turned invisible and ran away. While Jyona sent her golem after it, the rest of the group fought off waves of flying creatures.
As the party fought off even more waves of enemies, new enemies came and replaced them. It brought a couple members to the brink. Jyona watched her prized creation crumble to dust from repeated assaults. And Trent’s two animal companions suffered horrible wounds.
A couple Demons tried to capture Dashing Claw who was too weak to fight back. Trent panicked and used every resource at his disposal to save the tiger. Meanwhile Adrenne fended off multiple creatures all by herself. A good thing she was a Vampire. Even Demon attacks did little in the face of passive regeneration.
When the group finally got a breather, they heard more shouting in the distance. Apparently the party had fought off too many Demons. Their potential leader shouted to stop attacking them and to instead prepare the sacrifices.
Not sure what this means, the group has no choice but to press on. The Abyssal Continent is already earning its name, and the group has no idea what they should be doing.
