Exploring the World With Pokemon Go: Corrine Commons
I found another part of Baldwin Park that was apparently off limits to the public. However, Corrine Commons is wide open and the only sign stating this fact was right in the center. It seemed pretty inviting for private property.
Corrine Commons is what you would expect from Baldwin Park. Wide open spaces. Shaded areas to relax outside compliment said fields too. Also like elsewhere in this region, homes are right across the street from the park. I imagine that this is the true reason why the park is private property. Wouldn’t want those who spend big money to live here have to share with outsiders right?
Also like many other places nearby, sidewalks ring the outer perimeter of Corrine Commons. For those who wish to avoid the dirt and grass, this is the perfect way to spend time outdoors. Given the creepy crawlies that one might find in Florida, I can understand why many avoid the dirt.
Corrine Commons was a bit better in Pokemon Go than my last couple adventure locations. This area has a Pokestop as well as a Gym. And Pokemon did spawn here as well. Still I have explored places with far better opportunities in the game.
There is an event happening in Pokemon Go that helped me hatch some eggs quickly. The Growlithe is nothing special. However, the Snover and especially Shieldon are another matter entirely. Both are extremely rare in Florida and I was happy to see both come out of eggs.
I’ll continue exploring everything Baldwin Park has to offer before I return to the Cady Way Trail. Look forward to more beautiful scenery.
