Exploring the World With Pokemon Go: Project Apollo Space View Park
I was back in Titusville recently for one of my Dungeons and Dragons Campaigns. I had some free time and searched for a new park to explore. When I found Project Apollo Space View Park, I knew that I had discovered something truly special.
Before I explored the truly incredible part of this unique place, I took pictures of the outer area of Project Apollo Space View Park. Though the large open field is apparently off limits at the moment, it still looks like a great place for some recreational activities.
The park proper is much more well kept. Featuring fences and benches, even while looking at all this park has to offer, there are plenty of places to rest.
After I explored the outskirts, I arrived at the true centerpiece of Project Apollo Space View Park. Down an entire pathway stands memorials to the many astronauts who helped make the American Space Program such a massive success. It was pretty incredible seeing the amount of detail given to these plaques to showcase these heroes.
Trying to get individual images of each one of the plaques would have been both time consuming and in my opinion unethical. If you would like to see the many names of the Astronauts, then I recommend coming to take a look here. You will not be disappointed.
Pokemon Go:
Project Apollo Space View Park is pretty spectacular in reality. But how does it fair in Pokemon Go? I would argue at least decent if nothing else. There is a Pokemon Nest here. Two Pokestops and a Gym make it better than some of the other parks I have visited.
But I would recommend going to the riverfront if looking for hordes of Pokemon. Also, there are a few other parks right across the street from this one. Based on what I saw nearby, I am gonna bet that those areas are better.
Between this blog post and my last one, I hatched another egg. This time it was a Pokemon I do not need. There are still some baby Pokemon that I am actively searching for. And it is my hope that I will eventually get them.
I won’t be back in Titusville for at least a week. But I will be continuing this project the next time I am by the coast. There is a lot to see in this specific area, and I am excited by what I might discover.
