Exploring the World With Pokemon Go: Dartmouth Park
I went to the next park in the College Park area. Dartmouth Park was the closest one and offered a few features that helped it stand out from the last few locations.
Dartmouth Park serves the community of College Park. This rather nice district of Orlando has a lot to offer in its own right. The park thus has to showcase something notable to draw visitors from other nearby places. To that end, this area has fun activities for children as well as rest areas for adults.
The central region of Dartmouth Park showcases the open fields. While the grass may appear brown and dead I do not believe that is truly what is here. Given how lush and green some of the other parts are, it is more likely that this part of the park is simply used a lot more. Grass has trouble growing where human feet constantly walk.
At the very center of Dartmouth Park sits this statue. I was unable to get a better picture of it since children were at play. I also was unable to get the far side of the park for the same reason. In the grand scheme of things, this is not a bad thing. It grants a chance for those reading this post to come exploring on their own. Perhaps you will discover something I missed.
Dartmouth Park does not look too special in Pokemon Go. And while there were spawns here which is an improvement over my last few adventures, it is not enough to say coming here for Pokemon Go is worth it. However, downtown College Park is right around the corner. The rare spawns you see nearby in the above image are there. I might need to explore that district to showcase what else is there.
