Exploring the World With Pokemon Go: Lake Rowena Park
Right across the street from my last couple adventures, sits Lake Rowena Park. Though compared to Loch Haven Park, there is not too much to see, it is still worth a visit.
Located right next to Mills Avenue (State Roads 17 and 92) this park is nestled near the Andrews Causeway. There are multiple areas to sit and relax near the lake. And while there are few park benches, the raised platforms can be used in place of them.
I was unsure of the purpose of these raised areas, but they give Lake Rowena Park something unique that other places lack. Also despite being next to a lake, most of my pictures do not feature that area. Much of where I walked was farther away.
Around a single bend and Lake Rowena Park showcases its other feature. I am unsure what this building is. Perhaps its a pumping station. Right nearby, the park ends and transform into a neighborhood. I imagine living right near downtown Orlando and a nice lake boost the land value.
There are many places to play Pokemon Go near Lake Rowena Park. But is there any reason to come here over the competition? The answer is no. Go to Loch Haven Park if you are simply looking for a fun Pokemon Go experience.
I did hatch a Gligar while playing. I need more of these so this was very much a good thing.
I am almost done with the parks around the Orlando Urban Trail. Look forward to the next step in my adventures.
