Here is week 3 of my 2021 Dungeons and Dragons Campaigns. Lets go over session 3: Confronting Overconfidence. Things got messy. Don’t forget that this campaign has been ongoing for over three years. Return to the Servant’s Quarters: As the final act of the dinner party began, tensions were high. Hadron, the Barbarian/Warlock wanted to do whatever Antoinette said if it meant keeping his head. Grez, the Monk did not want to work with any of the corrupt nobles.. Sigvard, the Death Knight was willing to entertain Rose’s opinion as a third option.
The Main Hall: Entering the main hall, the party began getting acquainted properly with the Dwarven Nobles. As they had made an ally in House Trollbreaker thanks to the Paladin, this is the house they sat nearest. The Monk spoke to house Windmaul who warned him of Vampire servants. Aftermath: After the party left Antoinette’s lair, they returned to the Dwarven City. Fearful that they would be arrested despite self defense, they walked the streets warily. As it turned out, only the invitations to the upcoming dinner party kept them out of jail. Daznock of House Runebrewer was the one to break the bad news. He pointed out that

The Ropers Fall The Ropers continued to pose a serious threat to the party as they fought for their very survival. The Barbarian Warlock was getting serious mileage out of casting Armor of Agathys. The tentacles of the Ropers did not deal any actual damage and thus, despite being grappled, the Barbarian Warlock was getting free hits on the main bodies.
The clock was running and the party needed to get into a council meeting to figure out the succession crisis. Needing 4 house approvals was becoming difficult. One of the allied houses was forcing the party to a day long trial that they could not afford to compete in. That left the enemy houses. House Bronzebuckle: The party debated at
