Exploring the World With Pokemon Go: Lake Lawsona Park

Admin/ February 4, 2019/ Travel

After visiting multiple dud parks in a row I decided to go visit a true fire spot. Back from my week long hiatus thanks to Kingdom Hearts III, I explored Lake Lawsona Park. A place I am familiar with already.

Given the name, it should not surprise anyone that Lake Lawsona Park contains a lake. As usual when I explore such parks, I snapped multiple images as I walked around the area. The clouds gave a particularly stunning show. The Downtown Orlando Skyline is also visible through tree branches.

Lake Lawsona Park has more to offer than the lake alone. There are many park benches scattered around. If you are seeking a quiet place to come and relax, look no further than here. Despite roads being on every side of the park, the noise is hardly an issue.

I saw this memorial while walking around Lake Lawsona Park. Though I do not know the context and who this is a memorial for, I gave it the respect it deserved. I took pictures from further back out of respect for those who grieve. There was quite a bit of artwork as part of the memorial that is worth coming here to see. I assume that it was dedicated to celebrate the life of whoever this memorial was dedicated to.

Pokemon Go:

Here is Lake Lawsona Park in Pokemon Go. While Lake Eola is right nearby and a significantly better place to play the game, this area is still worth checking out. I have caught many rare mons here in the past such as Omanyte and Trapinch. Also like many of the parks I have visited, this area is a nest. At the time of writing, said nest is Ponyta.

I would like to note that a special event began right before I explored this place. For whatever reason, Spoink is appearing in high frequency at the moment. That will certainly affect what I encounter while playing over the next few days.

Although I did not hatch any eggs today, I did have a few pop out over this last week. Here they are. I was excited over the Bagon.

I am back and ready to explore many more locations. Look forward to many more articles.
